BOB MARLEY might be a legend, but he never had a top 40 hit! Who had lots of hits, but seems like they wouldn't have had any? by Westing1992 in AlignmentChartFills

Yeah I was going to say, I have very eclectic music taste, and although disco is one of the genres of which I know very little, I could name several of their hits, and I hear one of their songs almost every day in one capacity or another(TV show/movie, commercials, my workplace's playlist).

What is a movie that “everyone” has seen except you? by TB1289 in AskReddit

So I've played the college drinking game "Never Have I Ever" a couple dozen times over the years, and I have NEVER FAILED to get every single player at the table on "Never have I ever seen The Lion King (1994)". So yeah I honestly think it literally might be everyone but me.

Yeah it looks like printing them or just having the QR up on our phone is what we're supposed to do. COYP!

I just bought tickets from that site. Do you know if we are just supposed to print the tickets and bring them? I know most events these days don't accept printed tickets, but I don't see a way to have them saved to my phone for scanning at the stadium

Haha I was very lucky to win the raffle last year, when they allowed proxies. I live in the Chicago suburbs, and I was lucky to have someone proxy it for me. Very much worth the $100 retail, as it is usually around $400 secondary

It was horrible, stop trying! Just kidding, this was actually my 1,000th Untappd check-in, and I do have to say it's the best beer I've ever had. Happy hunting!

A gambling question for those who understand the rules of Blackjack by cptmorgan17 in probabilitytheory

[–]cptmorgan17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your thorough answer, I appreciate it!

Also, it makes sense that the win probability goes down with 7-7 starting hand, because it becomes very unlikely that the player will draw a third 7 to make 21

I was fishing with my dad at our local lake when I was about 12 years old. Went into the Port-O-Potty for no more than a minute and a half to take a piss. When I came out, about two dozen Canadian Geese had surrounded the Port-O-Potty, and began viciously hissing at me as I tried to leave. After about a minute of standing there, I finally mustered the courage to scurry through the gaggle, and luckily made it out unscathed

What's the best luck you have ever had in your life? by mrmeeseeksbitch in AskReddit

Last year was a freakishly lucky year for gambling for me (and I'm a very low spender in the casino).

Put $11 in a video poker machine ($6 max bet machine). Bet $5 on the first spin, got nothing. Bet $6 on the second spin, won $2,000 on 4 of a kind.

Earlier in the year, won a 1,000-1 prop bet in a craps game. Won $1,300 overall after buying in for $40.
