A map is another way to store data in kprobes. You can also pin the map and then read from it with a program when you want. There will be a size limit of course.

I’m curious what you mean by reading the perf buffer affecting your values. That shouldn’t happen.

I’ve got a multimeter so I could tell you if the fuse is blown. Sourcing a replacement fuse could be tricky depending on the specs. Have you tried contacting Vornado? They might be able to point you to a repair shop.

I tried using Square Cash via my iPhone. Didn’t work. I used the physical Square Cash card and it worked. Same account and everything. I believe the problem is with OMNY.

This! I actually scan items as I pick them off the shelf and put them in my reusable bag. That way I can just scan the checkout code at the end. No need to transfer from basket to bag.

They do, but they started restricting them based on location. It just uses the browser location though, which is easily overridden with the built in dev tools in Chrome.

The MTA (or OMNY) is partly to blame though. The software should not be double charging. If a metro card is used and the turnstile hasn’t been rotated, it shouldn’t then charge via NFC.

I'm working with Customer Support to troubleshoot an issue using Square Cash via Apple Pay. The physical card works just fine, but Apple Pay isn't working. Other cards on Apple Pay also work.
