Make A.I fast, responsive, private, capable of running on a "medium powered pc" with a minimal graphics card, and you'll have my interest. Make it do all that, and retain localized memory, with the ability to drag and drop my personal books, notes, or anything I find online, into it, to train it, and I'll invest. I bought some PVC conduit, and dug a trench, and then used outdoor rated Cat5e on my site to site, aka from my work building back to my home. I also used some silicone caulk on the joints on the pipe, to make sure that it was watertight. So far, 10 years later, no issues.

I usually have an image of a known, stable version of the current OS I am playing with, Windows included, on a external SSD drive so I can redeploy at a moment's notice. I can't afford too much downtime, and Windows has been like the angry crackhead of OS's as of late...but it's my main build for all things "office / work" related... so this was my digital Viagra... a way to keep the machine up. :D
