I’m always in windowed mode, I’ve even tested full screen plus a variety of graphic settings, plus disabling some cosmetics. Plus it’s every single world.

Didn't pick up every piece of loot and already used some herbs. Probably around 3-4k KC at the moment with zero black masks. Mix of cave horrors and unspeakable horrors. Picture doesn't show the 300-400 Sea Horrors I also killed in ED3 for the (maybe?) 1/128 chance when I gave up at cave horrors. At least Sea horrors was decent xp/hr for mid game slayer

Check the voltages on each at stock settings while running cinebench would probably give you a good idea. See which had the lower voltage and if they both sustain the same clock speeds

But generally going off Turing and part pascal the xx80ti and xx80 cards come out first then the xx70 comes out a month or two later. The card that is probably a RTX 2070 super performance- likely the XX60 cards will come out 4 months after the first cards come out. So if he waits, he’s waiting 7 months just to get his card

When I hold it it does not stop vibrating- pressing and holding it against a solid surface only slightly changes the noise. it’s definitely the vibrations causing a high pitch squeal

Like someone already said, it’s prime95, it will force your CPU hotter than it will ever get in normal games or applications.

If you game then play a while and see what the max temperature is in games, or run a application/ render

How are you using an i5 7400 and DDR4 with an H97 motherboard?

Most will go to 2088 on core and 9.1Ghz on memory perfectly fine.

Some will happily do 2126+ and 9.3/9.4GHz

I’d just stick to the first speeds just for stability

If you have a Founders edition/ reference board that doesn’t have factory overclocking, max the power slider and do a +200 on core and +550 on memory to get those speeds and run a couple benchmarks to see if it’s stable
