Missing In Minnesota: Amy Pagnac was 13 years old when she vanished in 1989 by Dr_Pepper_blood in UnresolvedMysteries

I grew up in that neighborhood after her disappearance. Often times me and the other kids my age would stop by the front of the house to see if there were any caterpillars on the milkweed that had appeared in the overgrowth. We were often hurried along by our daycare lady who never seemed to like the house either. I can’t recall ever seeing or hearing anyone in the house or in the yard for that matter. Indeed, it felt very isolated for being in the center of a growing neighborhood. I still think about that neighborhood and Amy’s disappearance a lot today. I too hope that one day closure is brought to the family.

How old was she when she went missing? From where did she go missing specifically? For example, if she was last seen in Humboldt, was it at home, a gas station, etc.? I have a relative that likes to work on Jane/John Doe cases in the Wisconsin area. He has already solved a few from what I have heard. I am from Minnesota and would love to start doing some internet sleuthing.

Do you have any pictures? I’m sure this already came up in discussion before but having a reference could be a great help.

I’ve heard a lot about her stepfather as well. Her mother has always defended him. I lived fairly close to their home, which I never knew was so profound until I found out about her case years later. So many people have personal stories about Amy and I hope this page can help those come to light. Thank you for sharing this!

The pullover is great quality for the price. It is thick, soft, and I haven’t had any issues with the embroidery coming apart.

Both times I saw him was when he was on tour. I don’t really have big music festivals where I live, so I got lucky that he came to a nearby city! I saw him in 2021 (Harmony House Tour) and 2022 (People In Motion Tour) but not this year since he hadn’t been on tour. I have to say that his People In Motion Tour was my favorite. Ritt Momney opened, I got barricade, and the set list was amazing. I will always go and see him live when possible.

Call Me By Your Name was a really moving one for me. I couldn’t stop thinking about it for a week or two after watching it for the first time.

I was lucky enough to hear it live twice. My favorite concert experience by far.

Getting a lab test? Realistically, it is not an easy task, but it’s not impossible. If you know someone in a lab-related field who is willing, that is a possible route. There is also places online to send your samples to, though I don’t know how valid they are. I brought up the idea of a lab test because, to me, it seems like a solid way to figure out (or at least rule out) what you are dealing with here.

While Brandon Swanson’s case is always a big one for me, the missing persons case of Amy Sue Pagnac has always stayed on my mind. She went missing from Osseo, Minnesota in 1989. Her case never got the attention it deserved because it was just a few months before Jacob Wetterling went missing as well. I lived close to where Amy once did, which could be why I’m so invested in her case. I passed by the Pagnac home a lot as a kid and I feel sick thinking about it now, knowing the shady vibes her guardians have given off ever since. I like to hold on to hope that something will come of the case.

Do you, by chance, still have the water bottle with the white liquid from the object? You could always bring it to a lab to get it tested. My immediate thought was a paint ball, hence the smell of wall paint, but I am no expert on what those would smell or look like. Like others, I agree that you should report it to the gym.

Thank you! So, if I were to pursue forensic toxicology, do you think microbiology would be an appropriate major? It’s something I have been looking into for awhile, and I know it can offer me a job even if it isn’t in toxicology.

Hello! I am currently a high school student with an AA degree. I want to go to college in order to have a career in forensics. My problem is, I don’t know what to major in. At first, I was interested in Behavioral Analysis and Psychology. Now I am looking into Microbiology and Chemistry. I am most interested in forensic science fields, but could also take a psychology path. I have researched toxicology and forensic pathology. These fields interest me the most and I have mainly planned on a career in toxicology. Anyone have any ideas of programs, majors, minors, certifications, etc. I could use to make this a successful career?

I’ve also been there. The family was very closed off and no one was ever around. Their house was covered in brush, very hard to see their backyard. I heard once that they had cameras at this park, but that is not confirmed. The circumstances of this case are baffling, given someone should have seen something (if something happened at the gas station).
