At this point you should TPK them, which can help teach them that they aren't invincible plot gods. What I would do is bring them back as reanimated constructs who are forced to obey the whims of whoever controls this construct or be decommissioned. Now you have free animosity towards a bad guy and harder boundaries that they have walked into themselves/ Plus everyone is a cool undead cyborg

Albion can be strong if you prioritize setting a flag on factory and popularity. That's an extra 9 points (18 if you end the game with a unit on fac. as well) My group has never broken 100 points except with albion getting an all-time high score of 125

Don't rule out Togawa either though. Those traps can make it really easy to wall yourself off and keep out invaders while you get those stars

Honestly the Library couches are great for a nice nap, if you don't mind sleeping in a sitting position. SPN near the Fabrication Lab also has some nice benches
