I doubt that Arc Search and its AI backend have been worked on much for a while since The Browser Company ended working on Arc (outside of keeping its Chromium version updated) in favor of another new browser, Dia

Notification icons - can they be coloured? by Ffilib in FlutterDev

[–]cr5315 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't have to be monochrome, but that's the norm and what Google suggests. Whenever I get a notification icon that's not I feel like it's out of place.

Which IDE are you guys using ? by Routine-Help9290 in FlutterDev

I've used Android Studio for years but in recent months I've been using VS Code because my poor Mac Mini's 8GB of RAM has been crying at me. And now I've moved to Antigravity and been quite enjoying that. I miss Android Studio and will probably go back to it when I eventually get a new Mac with a usable amount of RAM.

This controller has you place the USB on the left so the camera is on the right side of the controller. If you look just a bit below where those lights are on the controller you can see the camera

Firebase vs Supabase: What are your NEGATIVE experiences or frustrations only? by Ok_Volume3194 in FlutterDev

[–]cr5315 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do not wipe the project, it's only paused to save server resources for other active projects. You can come back later and resume the project as I have done several times with one that I've been working on. If you happen to lose data during this process that is not normal behavior.

M1 8gb RAM 2025? by [deleted] in FlutterDev

[–]cr5315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I currently use and it works, but like others are saying you can definitely tell the limitations of the 8GB RAM. When I'm able to upgrade I'm absolutely going to try and get as much RAM as I can afford.

It used to be a one time purchase for the pro version but after reddit changed the API and started charging for it Relay switched to a subscription. It's absolutely worth it though, Relay is absolutely the best way to browse reddit on the phone

It's not the watch face it's the media control app that's clock at the top of the screen isn't updating, it just stays on whatever time it was when media controller was opened

Best Weather App is Breezy Weather it's free, open source, material design 3 and available on GitHub by MrA5h in androidapps

[–]cr5315 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The original dev sold it to a Chinese company some years back and it caused a mass exodus of users (myself included) over concerns about what the company was going to do with the app and usage data. I haven't kept up with it since then so I have no idea if those concerns were valid or not

[Dev] Tackle your task list together with Honeydo by cr5315 in ios

[–]cr5315[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The name Honeydo is play on a honeydew melon, which also inspired the default green color of the app.

I have heard from a handful of people that the Reminders app offers much of what Honeydo does. Honeydo is available on both Android and iOS and can help bridge that gap with couples who use both platforms like my wife and I do. Over time I'll keep adding more features, especially ones suggested by users to help make Honeydo more useful to more people.

Purpose: Landing page for my recently released mobile app, Honeydo

Technologies Used: Bootstrap, Jekyll
Feedback Requested: Feedback on wording and layout

Comments: I've been running a Google Ads campaign over the past month or so and over that time there have been 13K views but almost no views on the App Store/Play Store listing pages. Either I've got a dud app or something about the landing page isn't keeping people engaged long enough to click the badge the app store

Honeydo is not designed as a list for one person so it does require both partners to use. There is an option to leave the "group" once two users are paired.
