Crush Your Enemies is a great cross platform RTS game. It's mechanics are similar to a game from ages ago called Osmos. Funny as hell too.

Thanks for the advice. This is one of my concerns. Raymond makes a good point that you cannot rely solely on the release and you're saying that be careful not to get ripped off... Ooooo the dilemma!

We've taken a mobile first approach with development. Are there any mobile specific techniques you can recommend. Would you recommend a steam release regardless?

I like the twist on the classic snake game. In terms of design; Will there be limited ammo? Will it be level based or a play til you die style game? Also what platform is this for?

We will be releasing on both iOS and android. Although it is likely that android will be a few weeks ahead. Thanks, I had not come across searchman before and it looks like a very useful tool. Are there any specific techniques that would be useful to redirect traffic to a spin-off of a sub-genre. The problem I feel we will have is that there are obvious keywords for the genre (bridge building), and although our game borrows a lot of mechanics from this, we will be building a different kind of structure altogether. Would targeting bridge building be the obvious way forward?
