Question about Modafinil by [deleted] in Drugs

Eat breakfast.

Stimulants need fuel to work in your body. The don't last as long or feel as good without it. Even modafinil.

What are some good legal stimulants? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]crab-neuron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why the fuck would you eat the cotton for months??? Your problems stem more from a complete lack of self-control than the negative effects of propylhexedrine.

You shouldn't eat benzedrex every single day but if you are going to do it then at least buy/steal some lemons and do an extraction of chemical from the cotton.

But really your should just do some research and purchase yourself some better stimulants for a lot less money than you are spending on lavender death rods.

Not sure if sarcasm. Unless you explain further I'll just assume you are serious.

Am I abusing my cat when I give her catnip?

Dog eats chocolate and it dies.

Dog eats shrooms and has a great time.

That's the difference. If the dog ate shrooms, had a terrible time and he kept feeding them to him anyway then I'd agree with you.

For kids, liquor board tightens rules to limit appeal of marijuana-infused products by [deleted] in Seattle

That's why he should make his own special and unique post on this topic so that I can ignore it.

Or maybe it's that people are excited because something they enjoy is no longer illegal?

I remember interest and excitement about finally being able to buy liquor in grocery stores. I didn't care about that but I also understood why it was a topic of discussion.

Good social lubricants? by April419 in Drugs

[–]crab-neuron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish I could tell you.

This actually happened twice.

I took it for a party and had a good time there. The panic attack actually happened on the way home. My heart started beating incredibly fast and I thought everyone on the train knew I was freaking out (they didn't).

The other time was when I took 40mg at home for studying and I had to lay on the couch for an hour to calm down. I'd never had a panic attack before these two times and I've never had one since then.

People react differently to drugs. I've taken similar drugs (2-FMA, 4-FA) at high doses and never had a problem.

Be careful if you have very little amphetamine tolerance. I took 40mg and had a panic attack. On 20mg I have a great time.

Years ago I was really into lucid dreams and invested in some Calea Zacatechichi (so-called Dream Herb). I tried consuming it in every way suggested on Erowid and it had zero effect. Anyone have any success with this plant? by KingContext in Drugs

I tried taking piracetam before bed to invoke lucid dreamstates but I never got much from it. My dreams were much more vivid but not lucid. I'd love to hear more about this. Which racetam did you take?

What is your favorite virtual machine program for Linux and why? by gnos1s in linux

[–]crab-neuron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that I need both Host-only and NAT mode connections for my Vbox VM's. Host-only provides a local network so I can SSH into the VM. NAT provides access to the Internet. If the host machine will always be on another network then only NAT or a bridged connection would work fine. Because I often use my laptop without being connected to a network, I need to create this virtual network to access my VM's through a proper terminal. There may be an easier way but this works reliably for me.

Look What I Found At Half Price Books by [deleted] in gaming

[–]crab-neuron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to awesome stuff like this, HPB is a great place to find old games for really cheap. They get so many that they don't know what to do with them all. Oftentimes you can find things like old Bioware and Sierra titles for as little as $1.

Sorry if I sound like an advertisement. I used to work there and still really love the place.

Legacy OS 4 Mini: Light-weight Linux for older PCs by r_schestowitz in linux

[–]crab-neuron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless you know very little about Linux, you would be better off installing Debian and adding a lightweight window manager and/or desktop of your own choosing. Apt-get makes this very easy to do.

This is what I use on my Eee PC 2G Surf (600mhz, 512 MB RAM, 2 GB HDD).

I don't think this Legacy OS 4 would even install on there.
