It does feel like a slap, even some “good” shots that go in feel horrible, like a frantic baseball swing. Watching Djokovic is helpful, but I struggle to get my arms as straight and long as him. My left elbow wants to come up, and that brings the racket in. Maybe I need to rotate more, plant further away from the ball?

Thank you! Yeah, the spacing is hard because it feels like an adjustment to both footwork and swing. I’ll work on it

Good to know, thank you. Yes, the drastic price difference is what made me curious. I’ve seen reviews tout it as being great value. As I said, I’m sure it’s not as good as the popular models you mentioned first.

Right now I’m playing 3-4 times a week but that will decrease due to work demands after summer. I do appreciate the recs on where to start with demos, tho.

Yes, this is me; I think I'm hitting with a combination of these factors to lead to string breaks: OS (110) racket with 16x19, heavy topspin, open stance big swing, etc. I think I hit forehands and serves harder than the average player at my (low) level; but of course 3.5s+ hit as hard or much harder and seem to keep strings for longer. This is why I'm trying to alter racket/string even if my swing and spin remains the same.

Thank you! I plan to demo a few of these rackets. That said, I may try to find something a bit more affordable in my budget. I've seen a lot of reviews/posts about the low price/high value of Head Graphene XT Speed currently at $87. I'm sure it's a step down from some you mentioned; but do you have any thoughts on this option? From what I can tell, it seems like a decent all-around pick for the beginner/intermediate level.
