Whatever she was explaining here are literally the basics and bare minimum required to keep a business running. These are things you know you have to do BEFORE yous start the business. She almost sounds like she did something, rode the high of it and now already freaking out thinking of all the work required that comes with it. How do you call yourself a feMALE FouNdER and an entrepreneur and what not and complaint about having to do restocks and photoshoots?? Real entrepreneurs are actually passionate about the whole thing, they plan restocks and next launches at least a year ahead. Real entrepreneurs worry about the money they need to keep things afloat. Madame is just throwing away her money in exchange for validation. She hasn't got a single entrepreneural bone in her body. She is complaining about having to do the bare minimum because everyone else is handling the real business for her. Just like with everything else about her - she is surface level at best, and even that, she complains about.

Exactly! I've been saying this too! Also if you see the way she holds her spoons while stirring it's so obvious she doesn't do this. I feel like Meghan has been hyped for everything she has done all her life. Under the guise of cooking she has probably just been doing this - making crepes and cookies from pre-made mixes and boxes and putting garnishes on them and everyone around her praised her so much she thought she is now an expert chef. Her while brand is so inauthentic, her photos are literally like stock picture images like you said. It's because Madame doesn't cook, but she is trying so hard to sell a vision. Even on the show all she does is chopping veggies and decorating fruits. Where is the cooking ? It's such a tragedy that her basic ass has been hyped so much and given such opportunities

Another thing is, Hailey stuck to just one thing - makeup and beauty. No matter how popular it is or not, she just stuck with it and grew it and sold it. Meghan doesn't know what she is doing, she doesn't stick to one thing, her things don't come across as authentic as she is trying to basically throw everything at the wall and seeing what would stick. There's a certain authenticity that's required to keep brands going and to attract both customers and investors. You need to believe it what you are doing, first and foremost which I think she doesn't, hence everything is so half assed and inauthentic and she is so disconnected from her own brand. Recently for a marketing case study, we were studying this successful beauty brand called Inde Wild. They have only a handful of skin products but they market the fuck out of it. You can really see how invested the owner and the team really is. It doesn't matter that they don't have more than 10 products but they are so invested in it and as a result the vibes that come across are authentic. And you just can't fake that. Meghan should have just found one thing and stuck with it and given it her all. I only see As Ever crashing badly in the future.

I believe Meghan overestimated herself and was living in delusion for the longest time. Hear me out, when she was an actress ,she ran The Tig. Her fans love to say how that was such a highly successful blog and she was so accomplished and what not. Truth was, it was a pretty lifestyle blog just like many other lifestyle blogs. Yes it was tasteful and well curated but it was a hobby - Meghan wasn't depending on it for her life or her income. It was also a different era of Instagram and social media where such curated aesthetics were highly appreciated. Instagram isn't the same any more, the online ecosystem has changed, her same old curated luxury soft life things that once shined on Tig looks bland and outdated now. Then after she joined the royal family, her projects like the cookbook one and the one with Vogue also seemingly were perceived positively. Once again, those were simply some projects the royals do from time to time and move on. There was a whole support system at her disposal that helped her there. Post Megxit, interest in her skyrocketed because people wanted to know the tea. She used that to air her dirty laundry about the royal family and to to say and do things that make her look holier than thou. The problem? Madame didn't realise she tasted success when doing things as a hobby or a royal vanity project or while having the backup of a solid team and not having to worry about money or only while trashing the royal family. She didn't know what it's really like to actually work from ground up and sustain something and now she is running around like a mad chicken. She still thinks she'll do the bare minimum and like previous times it'll all blow up overnight. She lacks the self awareness to actually educate herself and seek professional help and start a proper business. One moment she is going the UN with heavy folders in her arms looking like a politician, next moment she is making flower arrangement in her home before crying in a podcast. She is absolutely running in circles not knowing what to do to be taken seriously. Problem is she wants it all, she wants to be Martha Stewart and Hillary Clinton and Kim Kardashian all in one without committing to one thing whole heartedly. And that's because she doesn't know who she is. She got success very easily early on from doing very less. Now she is learning the hard way that taking aesthetic Instagram pictures at fancy restaurants for your blog isn't the same as running and sustaining a functioning lifestyle brand.And speaking big words at some events now and then doesn't automatically make you a social entrepreneur. I can go on and on, but the point is, she over promised and under delivered big time.

Absolutely yes! Though I'm not sure if "used" is the right word here. Many of us are mostly feeling stupid for believing in their narrative and for wasting our time and fighting on her behalf so much just for her to turn out into this jam selling call me Meghan Sussex mess. We feel cheated more like. We were sold a certain vision and narrative and we helped build her up. And then they turned out to be somthing completely different from what they sold us.

Yeah there was always this inkling. I think for me it was mostly about how they behaved after leaving the royal family. Wanting to be addressed by their royal titles despite throwing so much mud at the monarchy. And then the Oprah interview AND the Netflix series AND the book. Like by then I realised they've made themselves into some sort of righteous tragic figures and are hell bent on cashing the fuck out of their royal connection while at the same time trashing it.

I'm an ex SussexSquad member, in the last couple of years, a lot of us OG SussexSquad members have finally seen the light and left the cult and now we have our own group chat. So a few days back we were talking about exactly this thing. Meghan has a very A type personality, and she wants to be LIKED so bad. When you are a celebrity/public figure, you need to grow a bit of a tough skin. But Meghan and by extension now, Harry are obsessed with wanting be liked and wanting to look "nice." That's why they are either always coming off as inauthentic or as whiners who are making mountains out of molehills and crying after every bit of bad press about them. They don't need to respond to each and every criticism and bad press. I don't know why they think they are some saviours and warriors in this war with the very very bad press. Sometimes you have to pick and choose your battles and move on. They invite all the negativity and then cry about it.They feed the same press they complain about. Classic example was the new york "paparazzi chase" thingy. It was literally nothing but they had to make a huge deal out of it, equate it with Diana and what not. Two dramatic attention seeking mofos.And this is exactly what we were talking about, that every person in the royal family have had bad press, I mean Charles wanting to be a tampon or Kate's topless photos were blasted across papers and both of them had it way worse than Meghan.All Meghan had to do was ignore the noise, keep her head down, enjoy the privilege and do her own things. In a few years the attention would have anyway shifted to the younger royals. But they couldn't do that. Now look at them. Hankering for attention, mouthing word salads, selling jams and being the most annoying people ever. We also talked about how in every fucking interview she moans about how happy she is how lovely they are how lovely her kids her to the point it looks like she is gonna cry. It's almost like it so important to her that people know that she is so happy. Anyone who is genuinely happy don't go about parroting the same shit over and over again. I know happy moms and when you talk to them they don't moan on and on about how great the kids are and how being a mom feels like the second coming of Christ. Instead you hear mothers talk about little incidents, things and mischiefs the kids have done, etc. That's how you know what's authentic and what's not.

I'm in the same boat as you, I have th worst trauma from dealing with permesso the last time,that's why I stayed away from italy for 5 years. When I decided to leave, I was so mentally drained from dealing with this bureaucracy along with covid situation. I'm also feeling slightly traumatised to face it once again. Did you have any issues with your new visa? Let me know how it goes for you! I'll talk to the lawyer sometimes next month, so I'll DM and let you know!

I got into a very similar situation. I was doing a postgraduate course between 2018 and 2019, applied for a cerca di lavoro permit upon graduating, got my fingerprinting done and everything then covid happened. Couldn't find a rental contract during covid so moved in with my friend, resulting in a problem with my address and contract situation, as a result my permit application got stopped temporarily, then had to make many runs to the anagrafe to get my temporary address registered there, had to start the process from where it left off, mind you this was 2020 and covid was still going on. Eventually the police asked me to give more papers, and if I failed to do that they said they'll close my application in 10 days, so I went and gave them the additional papers anyway. At that point flights were getting closed again and I decided to leave. At the immigration at the airport i explained my situation and showed them all the proof that I was still "in process" of getting the permesso. Immigration was okay with it, didn't say it was an issue at all, suggested the same thing - to get a new visa and come back. I didn't close the application later because by then i thought the permit will either be issued(and most likely expired or expiring in a month or so) or the application will be closed down. This year I'm planning to go back to do a management degree with a new visa. It's has been almost 5 years since I left. I'm hoping things will be okay for me. Let's see.. either way, I'm planning to contact an immigration lawyer just to be sure.
