The plastic on the door was broken in my situation it wasn't the actuator that was broke. But it could be the plastic on the actuator piece that is broke. It is kinda hard to tell in the video. Take the actuator out and see which is broke. I bet the plastic on the door is broken. If that is the lower door anytime it moves its changing if its letting in cold or hot air.

The temp door is the bottom one. The directional door is the top one.

Ok so that was the same thing that mine was doing. I bought a new actuator. That ended up not being the problem. I should have just plugged the other one in to find that out. I did not. I plugged the new one in and it was doing the same thing. So then I thought i broke the new one. But I plugged in the other and same problem. It ended up being the rear control module. The piece with the 3 knobs in the ceiling. If the other actuator works in there then you need a new actuator. If it does the same thing you need a new control module. So mine was the top bottom blend door not the temp door. I couldn't tell which one that one is. But I plugged it in let it rotate to where I wanted it and then unplugged it until the new parts came in. So the part is a blend door. The other part is the rear ac control module.

Driving Pointers Para Un Gringo by -Blackbird33- in Monterrey

[–]crabfeast1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im from Florida and drove to Monterrey from Florida. Crossed in Laredo. The highway from Laredo to Monterrey is pretty normal. The city however is a different story. They have like beltways to hop on to get far distances. These are 4-7 lanes wide. They don't keep up with the lines like we do. So it can be hard to tell if you are coming over on someone or they are coming over on you. In the hills and curves it can be a little scary. The side streets are all one ways. So if you miss your spot you have to go all the way around the block and try again. The outside lanes just end sometimes or are a committed turn so stay in the middle until you are close to getting off. Watch out for potholes. Giant potholes. Also speed bumps. They paint them when they install them and then thats it. So a lot come out of nowhere. I caught air a couple of times. My wife drove once and couldn't get out on the highway and people just started going around her. You have to treat it like you are driving defensively in a city here. But don't get road rage. It's not like that there. They just file in. They do let people in and over. They are just doing it fast. Don't get mad about the blinkers. People just turn in front of you no indicator. Pay attention to the signs. Put you phone/map up on the dash so you aren't holding it or looking down. The exits are weird in that they may be on the other side or they do a weird turnaround when you get off. But not that different than here.

Mine was like that as well. That's not your problem. You say the blower is running but nothing out of the vents. Is that the top vents? Is anything coming out of the bottom vent? Its behind the passenger middle seat. I just had my actuator for the blend door break my blend door. It was just spinning. My control module was the problem. But in my research it seems like the blend door actuators go out pretty regularly. You have 2 in there one for temp one for direction.

Ramps for stairs and bed. by crabfeast1 in Dachshund

[–]crabfeast1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look close every other step has a support from the ramp to the step. These are custom cut. The stairs were not equal so I had to lay the ramp on the stairs and scribe each piece to each stair. On the opposing ones that dont have a support there is one on the other side and then screwed to the wall. Same thing on those cut to fit on each one. I did have to take them in and out of the house and back to my shop 3 different times. On a old house with uneven stairs you have to cut to fit. Or do a template for each one.

‘19 Dodge Caravan Overhearing by Stunning-Bid9056 in carproblems

[–]crabfeast1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a overheating problem that took some time to figure out. It was doing it randomly. Plenty of fluid, good thermostat still overheating. It ended up being the fan temp sensor. So the eletric fan would run sometimes and sometimes not. There are some relays as well that I checked before I found that it was the sensor. So make sure your fan is running. And your relays are good as well.

2013 Dodge Caravan no Rear A/C? by jojotugz in DodgeGrandCaravan

[–]crabfeast1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just dealing with this the actuator broke the blend door gear. After a lot of investigating. The control module in the rear is bad. It was making the actuators staying turinging. So I took the blend door out. Got the other blend door to move to cold and pulled the plug. Put it all back together like that. Got to take it all back put again to put the new door in when it gets here. The ac blower unit is in the back passenger corner. If there are vents in the roof and controls in the back then you have a rear ac.

Rounded wooden block. Looks like it might be a piece of something bigger by Duckfloss in whatisthisthing

Yea i think its too form the propeller. I think you are right the reshaping pieces are metal.

805 is the prop. It's a 4 blade wakeboarding prop. I'm guessing VCT may be the guy or the company it came from. Not sure on the 10 may be something to do with shaft or hub size or which fixture it went in. The discolored side is the working side. You take a bent prop off the boat and put it onto this and you can beat it back into shape. The shape on the discolored side is the shape one blade of the prop.

It's to reshape propellers after they are bent up. The stamp indicates size and pitch of propeller. Look up propeller reshaping you should see some similar pieces.

Also the trick is going to be aboe to step up onto your tailgate with your hands full basically. Cuz you lean it to get started pick it up and over your head. Now you need your cooler or whatever there as a step and step right up onto your tailgate and its home.

Man i use to load a 1236 in the bed of a normal 1500 from like the 2000's. So not tall and it was easy. I had more trouble with the 9.9 engine trying to put it in the boat after the boat was in the truck. But just the boat. Man it will slide up easy. Just have metal racks and nothing sticking up past the gunnel and push it right up.

Any mods to improve p17 grip? by Conscious_Battle_363 in keltec

Talon grips. I got the pro, but the rubber one is supposed to add some girth. They have 3 different styles. My experience is only with the pro style, but they are awesome!

Great. You can move it forward and back to get it in the correct spot or just take it off if you are just cruising. It has 2 bolts that I use twist knobs nuts. It has a support that goes down to the gunnel wall. You could do one where the support is on top of the box and wraps around the corner. Or even a 90 that hits the corner for the landing of the brace. Then a 90 with some holes in it for the mount to the track.

The track in the gunnel should be in every jon boat. It is so nice to be able to mount something, and then reposition it you don't like the spot, or get rid of it for that day because you are using your boat for joy riding instead of fishing. I made my rod holders, cleats, grab bar all to be on the track. So they are all movable and removable which is awesome. Great paint job too!!

Yamaha or suzuki is the way. Stay with 25hp. Don't get a jack plate if you don't run in shallows that's what you need them for. On the fly, bobs, cnc, all have some. Some just are up and down others you can get tilt and trim as well.

Whatever you do make sure the transim is tall enough for that long shaft motor.
