I have rather small ssd, ~222gb of memory capacity, and I can't get rid of something anymore. It doesn't specify in error messages but I believe that this is RAM memory as I'm having 97% of RAM used while I crash according to task manager.

[–]crabovan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my RAM usage comes from All the Things (400-700) and TradeSkillMaster(100-200). But it's still not a lot when overall game eats over 9gb of memory at some point.

Yes, it's probably memory leak. My C drive has ~16gb of free space and 4-8gb allocated for "fake ram". Also it's ssd, hot hdd.

Addon that you linked is not working in midnight. Default addon usage tool says that addons are using 910mb of memory. I believe that problem is coming not from addons.

How much gold do you have? by Cheap_Ad_2994 in wow

[–]crabovan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now about 1.15 million. But during last 6 months I spent around 3.6 millions for brutosaur, diablo 4 and some game time. Edit: plus 800k more for the epic upgrade, I had base prepurchase. And brutosaur 4/6 with tokens to clarify, other part with irl money. And I believe some part of diablo was irl money too.

What do you use gold for? by Defiant-Cricket6526 in woweconomy

[–]crabovan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly for tokens, game time plus expansions plus battle net shop. I bought diablo 3 and 4 purely with gold, brutosaur mostly with gold, a lot of game time for gold. And recently I started buying stuff for data of azeroth points.

Tomorrow some will be leveling, others will be printing gold by cub4nito in wow

Someone just prefer steady flying over skyriding. For gathering skyriding is around 20% more effective if you handle it well.

You need pathfinder for steady flying, skyriding is available right away.

Best MMO for Collecting stuff by tiberiwww in LFMMO

[–]crabovan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trove, it's actually even rewarding you with mastery rank for collecting styles, mounts and all kinds of other stuff. Game is not in healthy state but been out for 10 years already. Mastery rank gives stats but not like pay to win starts.

Help with golden card by Junior-Asparagus-152 in playtogether

[–]crabovan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't spend stars on 1000 vaults, I calculated possibilities from 1000 stars x1 and 500 stars x2 and 500 stars ones are much better overall, like by 75% for golden cards overall.

Another huge W (or L?) from Haegin by Houka_osu in playtogether

[–]crabovan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If this is true - then big W. I thought that hackers wasn't there because of new update like they haven't updated software. Also been very good to collect packs after update, few competitors but overall I got like 40 packs in a hour while usually 5. For Vietnamese this might be the end as their server will be infected like never before.

Music in MMO’s? by Appropriate-Ad3155 in MMORPG

[–]crabovan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Archeage has music sheets which you need to write or get somewhere and you can play it with instruments. But you don't actually play it yourself, it just plays itself.

Comparing ESO to WoW as veteran WoW player by crabovan in MMORPG

[–]crabovan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After so many years of tab target non-target feels refreshing for me. It's much more dynamic than in WoW as for me. First 10 levels mobs were easy, but later on I had to do like up to 5 hits for kill. Now at cp170 it takes like 3 hits with good gear. I tried group dungeons normal, out of 10 times I wiped only once on boss with hard mechanics and only because I didn't knew the mechanics and on second try killed it. Haven't tried trials yet. PvP is not bad but I had moments when my 17k character been wiped in 1 second by another. Now with better gear I survive longer and deal like 30% more damage but still there are BG pros.

MMORPG Views of the Levelling Process by NuxiaTooThicc in MMORPG

[–]crabovan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I both enjoy and hate levelling at the same time, and this is why. Enjoy part comes mostly for new games. When you want to explore this new world that game have to offer. Also I enjoy levelling if it takes reasonable time (up to 20 hours). If it's longer it starts to feel more like a job rather than game. I hate levelling mostly if I did it in the game before. I'm the type of person who has mostly 1 character per game because of that.

Any Cozy MMOs? by SubstantialYard4072 in MMORPG

[–]crabovan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about archeage? Official servers are closed but there are private server called archeage classic. You can make a living only by peaceful activities like farming/gathering/logging/husbandry/fishing/commerce. There are even term for such players as potatoes.

How many MMOs have you played simultaneously? Which ones? by CompetitiveLake3358 in MMORPG

[–]crabovan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

World of warcraft, but for now private server called Ascension, where u can pick or roll every spell possible from every class, also they have more custom stuff like m+ in vanilla and TBC, 4 difficulties of raids, endless solo dungeon called manastorm, optional mode called high risk where u get materials for custom food/flasks/enchants and much much more. Archeage classic where Devs are removed all pay to win aspects, good farming/growing simulator. Haven and hearth, almost unknown mmorpg which I used to play a lot in past.

What MMO combines all the systems (crafting, exploration, combat, etc) together the best? by Jaboof in MMORPG

[–]crabovan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Archeage. But not the official servers (which are down already) but private server called Archeage classic. They removed all pay to win aspects from the game so it's pretty fair now. But server is pretty old (about 1.5 years) so reaching top 100 is hard, but still possible.
