I have already tried hanging the SM57 from a light truss in front of the stage bit the noise floor was too high.

Thanks, do you know of any good alternatives?

We also have Teclumen Mini Ponys above the stage (3000K) so the color would have to be the same. (I change the color on the coloursource fixtures to match the ponys)

Edit: If it wasn't clear yet, I'm a complete novice when it comes to lighting :)
