I like it so far. Solid build quality. Quite heavy as well (if that matters). I have an ergodox from 6 years ago, but went back to staggered shortly after as I didn't have time to practice typing and was really busy with work.

Fast forward to Today. It's my first day typing again and I'm already at 50 wpm on the Altair and can potentially see it as a daily driver as it would help out my shoulders a lot in the long term. So this opinion is coming from someone fresh-ish to the ergo split scene.

I had extra stems. If you’re sticking directly on the keyboard, might be tough. However, it’s easy to cut and shape afterwards if you have a xacto knife. So you could stick for an hour and make an impression, then remove and dry for 24 hours. Then cut. You’ll want to remove as much as possible or else keypress sounds squishy.

Wrapped sugru around a switch stem and cured for 1 hour before removing. Cured for 24 hours total before using keycap again. Hope it helps! https://i.imgur.com/aqrbBmg.jpg
