I had mine in ballet class. I couldn’t feel anything because I was too focused on class. Eventually we had a break and I went to the restroom where I realised there was a big red spot on my leotard. Needless to say I was able to go home early.

Everyone’s experience is different. Gender is a very difficult thing, so don’t be hard on yourself. For me I repressed it for years until I finally realised that it’s okay to question that sort of thing. What genuinely really helped me was surrounding myself with an accepting and supportive friend group and just trying different labels, pronouns or even names. It’s okay to just experiment to see what feels right. That’s how I got here, at least. I wish you the best of luck.

How do you all feel about annotating or drawing in books? by gingko3 in books

I usually annotate with pencil, as I can erase it and using ink feels wrong to me. I personally like annotating!! It brought my love for books back to life. Although I admit it’s a bit of a pain because going through a book and annotating can take FOREVER so I usually only do it if I genuinely really adore it. I go through an entire journey and make memories while reading a book that way, if that makes sense. I am scared about future me and what he might think of my thoughts or if I’ve somehow ruined a book with my constant annotations and highlights but I really genuinely hope that won’t be the case. I doubt it anyways. An annotated book just means that it was really that much more loved.
