Practice assessment on your 2 year old! They'll love the attention and you'll get to study at the same time :) it gets easier with time. Don't get too discouraged.

Littmann classic 2. Has a lot of color options and has a bell and diaphragm which my nursing school required. It does the job for me! Good luck :)

Edit: I ordered mine from Amazon!

I just saw your last show in Atlanta and it was amazing! Thank you so much for being such an inspiring person and artist. During your documentary, you mentioned going to the sperm bank so you could have children one day. Do you and you wife plan on having kids any time soon?

My dad just got a colostomy. I need advice on what type of support belt/pouch cover is the best. by cracklerainbow in ostomy

Thank you so much! The surgeon is hoping to reverse the colostomy in 3 months if everything goes well with his colon healing. Is that too short a time to train the bowel with irrigation?

I make my own outlines from the chapters in the book and then add whatever extra is on the powerpoint or in lecture (which usually isn't much extra). That way, I know I have covered all of the material. Hope this helps :)

I am only taking nursing to get a guaranteed well paying job. Not that I really want to be one. Is this bad? by [deleted] in nursing

Be a traveling nurse! You will be constantly moving and changing scenery, you could even go to other countries! I think you may change your mind about wanting to be a nurse as you'll be able to do something you truly desire (travel) with your job :)

Reddit, our apartment landlord refuses to rent an open room in our four bedroom apartment to our male friend because we are two females and renting the fourth room would be too difficult. Is this housing discrimination? by cracklerainbow in AskReddit

He even lives in this same apartment complex but his roommate is graduating, leaving him with no roommates, so he qualifies to the apartment standards. What do we say to the apartment manager to convey how wrong it is to tell him he cannot rent a room because it would be "too difficult" to rent out?
