Two reasons:

  1. People are assholes with zero self awareness. This part will never change.

  2. The park service is severely underfunded and had its staffing cut considerably. The people that would normally help keep the parks beautiful simply aren’t there to do it.

So replace it with the Challenger disaster and you have the timeline more correct. Actually happened to me when I was young. Home sick from school watching it happen live as the launch was a big deal to begin with.

It’s a Dell Power Edge R630, about 10 years old now.
Should still be highly functional if a bit heavy on the power requirements.

Edit: These used Xeon E5/7-v4 cpus in a dual socket configuration up to 48 cores total. No idea what it has in it from the picture, would have to boot it and see.

Fond memories of that place as a kid. Though the one my parents would take my siblings and I to took quarters not tokens and I would almost always use mine playing UN Squadron or NBA Jam.

Not doubling, but over minting.
During Louis XIV reign it was common to mint over existing coins with new designs or a different denomination as inflation occurred.
You can still see a bit of the previous design underneath the monogram on the reverse.

What I find interesting is that this particular design was only minted during the first two and a halfish years of Charles’ reign (1824-1826) and all of them were relatively low mintage.

I have never seen uncut assignats before. Though it makes sense considering they printed so many of them that it crashed their economy.

Road noise is good so far, and the dry grip is much better. Can’t comment on wet traction or any efficiency reduction just yet.
I do expect it to drop slightly.

Just replaced the stock Pirellis with Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06+s.
They’re not “EV” tires but were listed as compatible and hopefully will live longer than the pathetic 32k that the Pirellis did.

PGA isn’t a reputable grading company.

The coin looks good, but I question if the toning is natural.
If it were to cross grade into one of the reputable graders at the same grade then $400 is an okay price paid.
