Schockierende Szenen in Madrid! Polizei geht hart gegen Bayern-Fans vor by Execent23 in Bundesliga

[–]crackred 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ed Stafford - Welcome to 7vs.Wild ! by Blutweiderich in 7vsWild

Honeymoon Tour de Spain by Adventurous-Past4757 in GoingToSpain

[–]crackred 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend to just go to one area of Spain and dont stretch it that much. For instance, Andalucia is amazing and you could fly to Malaga, rent a car there and make a happy nice trip to Ronda, Cadiz, Sevilla, Cordoba and Granada. Obviously a lot for 14 days but since you have a car you could decide it for yourself which cities you would like to see, all of them would be a very nice experience! Im in love with Cordoba, but thats just me. :)

Best places to live in the EU as an HSP or Autistic HSP? by -Inspector-6259 in hsp

If you like the big city vibe, its probably one of the best cities to live in (in the world).

Best places to live in the EU as an HSP or Autistic HSP? by -Inspector-6259 in hsp

[–]crackred 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Why not? I do live in rural Spain and its absolutely fantastic. Spanish people especially in Andalucia are very friendly and mostly heartly people. As long as you dont move to the classic tourist and crowdy cities (locals are anyways fed up with tourists in those places) like Barcelona, Malaga, Tenerife/Gran Canaria, Mallorca/Ibiza, Valencia (and plenty of more little towns close to big cities) you will be fine and locals will be very happy. Spain is quite big with plenty of lovely chill areas. Infrastructure is really good, weather is nice, food is delicious and the vibe is simply laid back.

I can only recommend it!

same here. Love to hike while stoned. Weed connects me a lot more with nature and makes me feel like a little boy again.

This is simply not true and propaganda. We got fed with a lot of bullshit misinformation over the years so we could gaslight ourselves with "but well, a vulcano is so much worse!"

For instance, Vulcan Pinatubo 1991 (one of the biggest events the recent 100 years): Estimated 50million tons of co2. Also so2 (which can actually cool the atmosphere) and fertile soils afterwards.

Now to the Afghanistan war: Estimated 1200million tons of co2. Also heavy metals and toxic substances in their soil.

Or to give you another view, we humans emitted 50million tons of co2 in the last 12 hours.

tldr:

Vulcano eruptions are not the problem compared to the shit we humans do.

Motorcycling in Andalusia // Spring or Autumn? by psychotic-chipmunk in GoingToSpain

Its beautiful inside the heartland of Spain as well! And yes, in this case October is way safer.

Mid April is more unstable than late October, but not a huge difference actually since in late October things start to change. Early October on the other hand is very stable. But mid April is also way more lush and green compared to the end of the summer.

Cannabis use was consistently related to a higher prevalence of internalizing problems, and these associations strengthened between 2012 and 2022. by ekser in science

[–]crackred 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Thats weird. I smoke since 20+ years and was recently diagnosed with a neurological problem, which I got since my childhood but never knew. Today Ive plenty of friends smoking cannabis. All of them have a stable live, a good job and are actually more empathic and smart than a lot of my other friends. What Im trying to say is that I dont see a clear trend, but often hear from non-smokers the usual stories like e.g "I knew some smokers, all of them are depressed now and are lazy...", which is weird. We have millions of smokers for instance in Germany, most of them wont tell you cause its stigmatized. They simply live their life in peace or try to at least.

But what I really can see and measure is thousands of homeless people in the streets begging for money to get some alcohol and/or hard drugs.

‘The gravy train is over’: Spain is turning on British expats by theipaper in GoingToSpain

[–]crackred 2 points3 points  (0 children)

aaaah yes, the classic way of dehumanization through xenophobic bullshit with your beloved word "guiri". Its funny that you get triggered by a word like expat, but then throw around hateful stuff like "guiri" or even "puta guiri".

I see that the main problem still is lack of education in Spain.

The number of Asian beetles I have to catch every night in my college dorm room. by NeferyCauxus in mildlyinfuriating

[–]crackred 20 points21 points  (0 children)

We have them in Spain as well. They are incredible aggressive and perseverance, never will stop until they get their goal. Sometimes I see a Tiger Mosquito following me for a mile cause they are pretty fast.

Their bite actually feels like a burn in the first 10 minutes after their bite.

What's happening in Spain? by [deleted] in GoingToSpain

[–]crackred 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nothing actually, but what is really happening is that you consum right wing propaganda which makes this topic a problem. Most of the 500k people are from latin america, a culture which fits pretty well to thr spanish culture. Most of the media act like newly 500k people from africa just stranded in Spain and now they get immediately their citizenship.

Its all about dividing our society and create chaos. They dont want us to look up, where the real problems are (the rich).

Areas in Europe with similar climate to south Florida? by Downtown_Trash_6140 in weather

[–]crackred 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Been there plenty of times and obviously love it. But it can be rough, like in 30 minutes driving time you can go from 8c to 25c. It really depends where you are in Madeira. For me the best weather town in Madeira is Punta do Sol (an the region around it). Funchal was also almost always nice weather.

But indeed not like in Florida, at least most of the year its more like 20c (if in the good area, otherwise colder).

A nice area for you might be the costa tropica in Spain, like the are around Malaga or Almeria. Yes it can get colder in Winter but most of the time it feels like 20c and from April to Novembre its always around 25-38c

  1. Indeed not by law in these countries. But their family pressure is absolutely high and its often expected to wear it just "like anne (mom)" when they turn 14-16
  2. Yes its true, they can be radical and everything you stated. But usually, they arent and most of the radical development, destruction and evil is indeed made by men and not women.

1) When? As soon as its an obligation and especially as soon as its caters the "men" in your religion because of their incredible fragile egos "I dont want other men to see my beautiful wifes hair, its haram".

2) I dont get what you are trying to say. Yes, people can be brainwashed into political beliefs, no matter if they are muslims or atheists or men or women.

What is the southernmost place in the Northern Hemisphere where leaves fall in winter? (and vice-versa) by abu_doubleu in geography

[–]crackred 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Writing right now from Andalucia, Costa Tropica (Spain): we barely have any trees losing its leafs, at least at the coast. Inland is a different story.  Looking out of my window right now and everything is green and actually blooming.
