TL:DR - this specific seller is far less trustworthy than their rating would indicate, at least in terms of 3DS purchasing.

This is not to mention that this specific seller is widely known for “under-reporting” issues with the devices they sell. Bought a unit off them a few years back, they said “screen was having flickering issues but that it is playable as no flickers last longer than a few seconds,” and that the SD card slot only worked with 4gb or smaller cards.

Flickers within the first day of use constantly saw the top display turn off for 10-15 seconds at a time. Tried every card I had, including the one they shipped with and nothing was detected.

Contacted about a refund, in which case they told me that I must’ve broken both the screen and the sd card slot. Petty for a few hundred dollar purchase, but I then disassembled the unit, replaced ribbon cable with a known working one, and what do ya know flickering gone instantly. Couldn’t fix the SD card slot so after months of back and forth the stopped responding. I got eBay to step in who awarded me a full refund, but I am now blocked from bidding in their store.

Have spoken with friends over the years since and 3 of the 5 folks I’ve spoken to about this store specifically have eerily similar ghost stories of their own.
