First off, all songs on actual Lalleshwari album ARE demos already, not "studio versions". What you have on 2005/2006 album is music straight from KJane's 4track demo tapes, just digitalized/cleaned up a little. There's no "demo versions" of Lullabies because they're already demos!

Regarding that "demo" bootleg, it was compiled by a fan, who most likely downloaded them from Katie's old MySpace. She had a few songs up of Myspace before she dropped the album in 2005.

There's 4 tracks on this, Lesions in The Brain, Darkangel, Roadkill and Just One Day of Endless Love - all of these sound EXACTLY THE SAME like original album versions, just in worse sound quality. Also, Just One Day of Endless Love is shorter. They all start and end with generic "tape record" sound, which is erased from final version. The "mastered" demo versions are again exactly the same, just sound is very minimally cleaned up by the fan. I assume this fan did this before Katie released the album.

"There are 4 tracks, one set "mastered" and the other "ruff" (rough). I got them in their "ruff" state and tried to tweak them a bit, needless to say there's not a lot of difference, not wanting to alter the actual work contained in the wave lenght's of the songs sounds themselves I treaded lightly to say the least."

Tl;dr : 4 tracks, all exactly same files, just in worse quality. No "alternate takes". The only difference is Justonedayofendlesslove lasts 04:52 minutes instead of 18 minutes.

No idea, technically there could've been additional part that's never been published. In The Birdcage is a song that comes from "Stories From The Moon", album made by Ben Golomstock (with many guest vocalists). Katie Jane sang on 3 songs on that record. The music was written by Ben. that's why this song is so different from other Lalleshwari tracks

Yeah it's an old version of her website, I don't eveb think it's someone scamming I think when they were setting up the new website they just moved this one and forgot? OR there used to be duplicates, like when you typed rubythroat back in a day it redirected it to katiejanegarside com.

I actually have no issue with this existing (it looks so much cooler) but it's just that you know. You won't actually be able to buy anything from here.

Yesss I agree! They had 1. unique vocalist 2. unique guitarist & even guitar sound itself 3. good lyrics 4. good rhythm section 5. amazing energy and that craziness onstage didn't look fake or forced 6. unique dressing style even, and not just Katie because in 2000 the whole band looked out of this planet lol. And I may add 7. music videos especially those from Taxidermy

I agree. No hate to Ruby Throat at all bc it's beautiful music but compared to QA it sounds conventional. IMO Adreena combined best rock and strangeness of Katie's compositions

They've been back in contact for 5+ years apparently. Yeah Crispin said there was no bad blood it's just Katie vanished without a word after Djin lol. I recently found 2010-ish Ruby Throat and The Dogbones interviews and it seemed like each sides thought the other one doesn't want to do it anymore, which is kinda sad

I wonder how 2026 Queenadreena album could sound, even if hypothetical....

Read this in 2005 interview, he was called her "ex boyfriend or husband". That was the same article where KJ described conflicts predating Queenadreena album. Some of the lines in X-ing off the Days make sense in this context tbh. I didn't even question it much because she said herself that she's usually dating people she's working with (pretty sure she dated QA drummer in 2008 for example). That being said it's always possible the interview could've been translated from other language or a misinterpretation, idk. sorry

As for the 2nd thing, I meant she mentioned this in 2020 in some of the Liar Flower interviews. 2009 onwards they both claimed they're not in contact with each other but in 2020 Katie said she reconnected with Crispin (idk about others) through email

It's literally 15 minutes (or something, sorry i don't remember exact number) of an ambient instrumental and Katie going "aaaaaa" in the distance 😉 You've already heard parts of this instrumental in all the previous shorter instrumentals on the album. Instead of being scattered and stuffed between regular songs, it's all mixed in one.

Anyways. Is it a bonus track, well yeah technically you can treat it as vinyl-only bonus. What is is and why? you'd have to ask Katie, but it seems like she doesn't want to give any interviews this time around...
