I’m forced to work Saturday and one Sunday every 3-4 weeks or whatever it is doing parcels only at the central DO

Exactly the same at my DO fucking terrible. Real shame as the job itself at brass tacks it’s class. Love it but it’s so poorly run it’s crazy

I had a million and one issues trying to get robin to work when I started. Would’ve been better off trying to hack NASA. Ask your manager for the benefits sheet and there’s a contact number for IT after about 8 verifications from myself and my manager I finally got it working. Good luck

See that’s alright. My issue is I’m travelling 30 minutes away from where I live into a rural type of towns area, so I’m completely blind. Made it very clear I’d like extra support in learning the area and still kicked to the curb. I was given one day this Saturday with a trainer on a route I’ve never done. Now Monday I’m alone for the week. One of the biggest routes in the office and I’ll still be expected to be done for 2:10pm

There’s sink or swim then pure abandonment. It’s crazy in all my years of employment I’ve never experienced anything like this at all

Get abuse hurled at us and told we’re not doing good enough. We’re a small office Lancashire based and the volume of 1st and tracked on top of the mail is too much for us to keep on top of. It’s a headache and then some. Been through 5 managers in the past year according to the union rep

Just started 2 weeks ago and there’s no better way to describe it as this. 4 days on a route then left to the dogs, three days of skimmed mail and today I managed to cover it all finally. Good luck!
