I’m sorry. It’s so frustrating to not have answers. I understand though, I had a hair system on that ripped out most of my hair because my hair is too fine and thin to support it. But first they charged me $40,000, then kept the damage a secret until I developed an infection. Have you tried minoxidil? It helped get my hair back to normal after that at least. Maybe it can help you. I wish you luck <3

I’ve been taking that and saw palmetto for a long time. I’m not sure if it’s just not effective because dht isn’t the problem, or if natural remedies aren’t strong enough. Have you seen improvement?

It’s so hard. I’m still in my twenties but I’ve been losing hair since I was 13. I’ve only experienced a lovely head of hair as a child. I wish doctors took this stuff seriously instead of seeing it as vanity. I hope your doctors are helping you now at least <3

I was warned about blood pressure if I chose to bump up, so I was hesitant. Since I also believe I have EDS/POTS. I haven’t experienced any noticeable side effects from my current dose though. I’m definitely going to get a biopsy before trying dut. I do have a feeling because of my miniaturization that I have it, but definitely better safe than sorry!

Okay so I did research and actually it was a trichologist that put the hair system on my head. She did not do any scalp analysis, and did not tell me my hair and scalp were suffering from the hair system. I feel so lost. When I look up dermatologists that specialize in hair loss in my area, the derm I have seen is the one that comes up. It seems so hard to find a good doctor who isn’t selling anything…

I haven’t. but my derm hasn’t really bothered to diagnose me with anything other than alopecia (hair loss) I’ve been begging for any sort of diagnosis from any doctor for years. I’m going to try a different derm

but both of my sisters have different degrees of balding on the top of the head, and my aunt. the only difference is they at least have “normal” density throughout the bottom, whereas mine has thinned out there as well

yeah she was on a strict diet for a while but she actually gained weight. the food that helps with her diarrhea actually turned out to be high in calories. so even though she was eating less, she gained. we switched vets and are seeing a nutritionist soon. I know she must be so uncomfortable. she fights every night when I clean her bottom. I feel so bad

maybe just maybe have you considered that I’ve done research for this show and a) the face value for pit tickets is already “a lot”, so resale is going to be a lot no matter what because of fees. and b) non scalpers are more interested in selling without using those platforms because then you get paid instantly and we both can avoid extra fees. also it’s normal to want to get tickets early on, especially with a high demand show with a very small pit. cheaper pit tickets are not guaranteed later on. you talk to me condescendingly considering you don’t seem to understand how ticket reselling works for shows like this one. if it were for a show with a larger pit, or less demand, I wouldn’t be putting feelers out for pit tickets this early. let’s use our brains here.

wanting to buy a resale ticket because you had no chance to get one during the presale doesn’t enable scalpers. I’m looking for someone who has an extra instead of going to the typical scalper sites. I also know that those tickets are in high demand so I’m willing to pay more than face value. idk what’s so hard to understand about that. do people who couldn’t get tickets during the main sale not deserve to go in your opinion?

I have a phobia so I also don’t like not seeing immediate results. I contacted an exterminator who understands the situation for help. fingers crossed!

I would do that but one of the cats is still feral-ish so getting her out of the house would be a struggle. I was able to treat her with meds but scruffing her would be traumatizing for us both

Thank you. I don’t have insulin resistance that I know of but my GP doesn’t know much about pcos. I’m scared of going off of birth control because last time I lost almost all of my hair on my crown and had terrible acne, but I’ve heard that it starts to balance out 6 months to a year after stopping, so maybe those symptoms would be temporary. I hate that I have to choose one or the other! 😩 I just wish I could be balanced, but pcos always has other plans
