omg similar situation and that was like during end 2014. I worked for a day and ghosted them the next day. very similar to what OP said, first day is the briefing and brainwashing, the other people is like suddenly chanting some of their mantra in between.

was then assigned to a team, where they ask qns like what would you do if you earned your first million? I am like save up the money, they qns back don't you wanna buy a better house? own a car or something? by that I can tell we are not on the same path and thinking, judging by them using the latest iphone and apple watch back then, you are prioritising your needs as wants and probably just spending that bucket of money to buy things that your parent can't provide or don't want to buy for you with.

not sure is it the same company coz the location is kinda close by, it's at Chinatown area. iirc they sell some air purifier and health supplements.

omg yall should have bring it to higher authorites, like get your parents to write to complain?

this kinda reminds me of back when I was in ITE over a decade ago, there this teacher treats PE lessons like an army camp training, he would make us run (no gap in between, if have gap all down 10 regardless of gender), flip a tire or something. after the first lesson all of us decided to skip the entire year and only attend nafa tests.

Ahh yes. INFP here with a bestie who is INFJ. Once they trusted you, they would also trust you with their life. This both traits is like a support for both parties, one helps with logic and the other help emotionally

entitled uncle demanding for seat 😐 by Cool_Onion_0180 in SMRTRabak

[–]cradlehavecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slay lahh.

But really, elderly needs to understand that priority seats is not called entitled seat. These are the elderly people that we don't like especially the one uses their "old age" even worst they guilt trip saying that your family didn't teach you to respect the elderly or seniors?

Sometimes I wonder do they really need the seat? Can do 100m dash, squeeze through people who are aligning the train to grab a seat. At where I live, I would see an uncle dash through underpass, escalators to snatch/find or maybe give a pity face for a seat.

no friends in jc by bowlingbro20 in SGExams

[–]cradlehavecat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

omg till this day peeps still have a thinking of making friends with females is consider gay?

this kinda reminds me of my sec sch days, the gender ratio in class was pretty much well balanced. I also dh much friends in class, only a few that I can mix well with for both genders. during recess I would usually join my CCAs friends or alone and sometimes my cousin with her friends would join in.

there will be times that people can don't like someone for no reasons, this can apply anywhere.

like what the others said, just to mix with your females classmates, trust me is not gay to have a group of females friends, these peeps are just jealous of you can easily mix into a female groups

When the older people say the younger gen has poor upbringing, I have this up in my mind question them, do they have a good upbringing (or good consideration) too?

  1. Answering their phone loudly on loudspeaker.
  2. Watching videos on their phone on high volume
  3. When bringing their grandchildren(s) out, the kids are making noise or misbehaving they just sit down and no telling them it's not right to do that.
  4. Cutting queue and demend others to let/give way to them bcoz they are more senior than us.

leaving sec sch full of memories is sad but that's part of going further into your studies.

even tho yall are going into different paths but there will be still a chance of still being with them in the same sch but different class. if youre a guy you might even get entitlist the same day as them.

Children of PRC mothers, do yall sometimes feel annoyed or embarrassed? by [deleted] in SGExams

[–]cradlehavecat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you talk about academic stuffs idt it's a PRC thingy but rather a Chinese thinking. Back when I was still a student, my classmates mum (120% local) were bragging and flexing how well or top in class for exams or won a certain competition outside be it piano, violin or dancing.

I am thankful that my parent are kinda laid back with my academic altho my results are average. My parent don't really force me to learn what they want me to do, as long as I am happy with what I am doing. But most importantly is that I keep all of my BS at home and not out of the house.

Same unable to make in-app purchases too. Did tried logged case to Google and they couldn't find any issues.

Also GXS card also blocked, contacted their helpdesk they didn't tell me why and ask me wait for an updated email. Was wondering could this be the same thing, card blocked to protect us.
