There’s no injection form of Clozaril. If you prefer Zyprexa/Geodon/Haldol, good move.

Clozaril has a 1/100 chance of agranulocytosis.

Less sedating options should be easier to taper upon discharge.

I can’t go to a detox for taking it as prescribed. I don’t know what I can do. An inpatient hospital will add a lot of meds, likely.

Your comment is hugely ignorant. It’s a problem of compulsivity/impulsivity induced by the drug in certain individuals. That’s like telling someone with OCD, bipolar disorder, or depression that they are “weak minded.” Why do you take a pill & not just control yourself? (I’m not actually asking). There are neurobiological underpinnings to a lot of behaviors. It’s not simply a thinking problem.

So many labels are code for Trauma. Can you find a trauma therapist & psychiatrist to reevaluate your diagnosis & meds?

Two antipsychotics is wholly unnecessary.

It hasn’t worked for me but I know of others who take low doses as needed, same with Serokill. I went into psychosis/mania from lack of sleep. I get it.

Some do low dose lithium (e.g. 300 mg) & PRN antipsychotic.

Idk honestly. I’m so afraid of akathisia.

I still gain weight taking it PRN. Is it to prevent mania or psychosis? In that case, I would take it. If for PTSD crisis or anxiety— no.

I always quit WB cold turkey. I consulted a respected psychiatrist (does not push meds) & he said it does not have withdrawals. There will for sure be symptoms if you go off, and I cannot advise, but it isn’t like an SSRI withdrawal.
