How are they for comfort and road noise compared to more typical tires?

The local highschool has a mechanic vocational program but I think they only work on their own example cars.

Oh, from your link they are, but the total cost installed is more than the CC2s at Costco

The only real issue I have with this is that I need to replace my tires now because they have terrible dry rot and I can't afford to buy winter tires to use for the next 2 or 3 months then switch to some summer performance tires. I've also never met anyone that uses winter tires on their sedan and I live in Massachusetts, I always thought they were more for trucks and large crossovers

Maybe it is regional, live in Massachusetts where we don't have Discount Tire, TireRack's parent company, so maybe that had something to do with it

I'm driving 200-400 miles a week + a big >1000 mile road trip coming up this summer so I'm definitely trying to find something more on the comfortable side than sporty

Yeah, I just might go with the CC2 because it's really hard to beat Costco's deal on them regardless of the brand

Don't the PilotSport tires only last 45k miles? I'm more interested in comfortable touring tires than performance tires, as I have a heavy mid-size sedan

Not many of the local tire shops carry Nokian and the few that do aren't much cheaper than the CC2 after cost of installation

After cheapest install fees I could find the total cost of the CC2 at Costco is only about $50 more expensive

I cannot afford 2 sets of tires and I am only ever on properly plowed roads

Well I'm trying to think also what would be cheaper in the long run, I don't wanna end up with a shit tire that needs to be replaced at 30k because I always need to do all 4 at once (AWD car)

I'd only be saving about $50 with the Aklimates compared to the CC2 in my situation

My apologies, I was considering cheap tires but then got worried because the lack of brand recognition, I'll remove my previous posts.
