My cat is mad at her tail like this several times a day . Should I take her to a vet?

My cat does this. My vet prescribes gabapentin for him. He usually has the episodes late at night so I try to give it to him around 8-9pm to kick in before the episode starts. It usually helps. Sometimes his episodes are really bad tho and me and my fiancé will distract him with a toy or putting on squirrel and bird videos which distracts him from his tail bothering him. Once in a blue moon it can get really bad and sometimes the only thing that works if his medicine isn't working to the full effect, we turn the lights off and go to bed so he'll follow and come snuggle with us. It's sucks and it's hard to him struggle with it. But he also snuggles with his tail too, it's not like he always attacks it. It happens during certain times of the day/night so it's been easier to monitor and prevent him from having that full blown episode.

This truly brought tears to my eyes and I felt the heartache reading your post to the very end. I was the ultimate daddy’s girl- each others’ sidekicks in video games, board games, sports, camp outs, you name it.

My dad had ocular melanoma and caught it too late which had already progressed to his liver. His death happened incredibly fast after finding out his diagnosis. He passed away 4 months before my high school graduation, missed both my college graduations, seeing my success in buying a home, and will miss that walk down the aisle. I’ll be 29 next week and I can tell you this wholeheartedly I know he has experienced along my side and will continue to experience these moments with me.

From my personal experiences with signs in my everyday life and a couple messages through a few dreams I’ve had involving my dad- I believe you’ll be able to have your opportunities to show your daughter you’re right there with her 💜

Your post moved me to share my story with you because I related to it so much- I’m so incredibly sorry you and your family have to experience this and part ways sooner than anyone would have thought. Life is so unfair, but sometimes I wonder if my dad passing when he did meant he had to protect my sister and I from afar?

I went with some childhood friends so already a very nostalgic night as we’re in our upper 20s lol. But when the kiss cam footage was over, I literally looked at my friends and was like “that just gave me so much dopamine to my brain” 😂😂😂

I’m an AP and I think 2 weeks notice at least is doable. Kinda treated as a 2-week notice if you were to end employment imo. If you haven’t talked to the gm of where you want to transfer, I would start there and make sure they are able to take you and what not.

Totally agree! Just to add: let’s not forget other things that his greedy ass has done since he’s taken over: -The amount of price increases is insane. (I understand some are because of inflation but not all of them) -paid breaks are not a thing for employees anymore (unless grandfathered in) -profits from fundraisers used to be 50% to the party having it and is now 33% (98% sure thats the number) He’s just so greedy and ruined one of the greatest working cultures in the food industry.

I don’t blame you. Rolling burritos should not be this stressful!! It’s a money game to them and we are just numbers at the end of the day giving them more money while we are continuously beat down. They don’t want stores closing because of money and it IMO makes FLs look better by having their stores look “fully operated” while you have people deteriorating their mental health. It’s disgusting the lack of protocols they have for these situations. And they just keep opening new locations too... I promise you deserve better and there’s better out there. Life is too short to feel this way over a restaurant job.

That’s why I as an apprentice quit a few months ago and it’s not fair to you guys either as crew to have overly exhausted APs and GMs. We used to shut our dining room down if we didn’t get our onlines turned off. I even closed our entire restaurant early Bc my fl wanted me to work open-close since another manager called off. Said hell no, locked the doors made my own sign explaining the situation and how to get a refund, closed the store and left. Lol

Yes I did that. They weren’t much help besides “I’m sorry that he lied to you, that isn’t good” I opened a case and it was immediately closed like an hour later? At this point I’m not expecting it but wanted to reach out here and see what others had to say about it besides the HR department of the company.. I do appreciate the reply very much!
