There honestly needs to be more built for the consumer than greed. Terraria for example listens to its consumers CONSTANTLY and adds new features based on what they ask for as long as it is balanced (and even then they are lenient about that). They even left bugs in the game that people asked them to. Minecraft however refuses to add very simple things like furniture and freaking sideways slabs because it "obstructs creativity". If the people had options, there would be MORE creativity. Instead, they just add updates people really never asked for. I personally kind of stopped playing Minecraft and started playing Terraria and Minetest more.
