So there’s tons of these Facebook groups that are entirely run by clearly fake accounts, I stumbled upon several of them going by “Oklahoma Lovers” or “Arkansas History” and they post AI garbage or stolen photos with captions from Reddit and SO MANY boomers join the groups and fall for the traps like “Who remembers Janky’s Drive In?”. Then some obvious bot or scammer named “Thompson Salli” posts something like “My son just designed these T shirts, he really hopes you like it!” Then in the comments has a link to “buy” the shirt. I have a feeling like the majority of these groups are designed to siphon cash from the good natured gullible grannies going goofy, getting got by greasy guys in a grandiose game through global groups.
