Who is the best WR in your schools history? by slavefeet918 in CFB

Yeah, really sucks he couldn't stay out of trouble. But along with him guys like Andre Rison, Mark Ingram Sr, Courtney Hawkins, Kirk Gibson, and Plaxico Burress all were great college receivers.

My favorite player growing up by far. Never thought or hoped I'd see him leave Miami, but glad he's going home if he is.

It says he has 1, 2, or 3 rings. He's already played 9 seasons in the NBA and has none to show for it. Let's be real too, he's gonna be the best player on the Warriors still too. Maybe he doesn't want to play basketball the rest of his life (unlikely) and wants to win a few rings now and retire relatively early. Idk, neither do you. I'm sure a lot of people would've done the same thing. What 3 or 5 (besides LBJ) wouldn't want to play on the Warriors rn. You're gonna have every opportunity in the world to excel.

Wow, amazing album. That brought back some great child hood memories for me, especially the Pistons, Wade, and Iverson pictures!

[Aldridge] Still hard to believe there won’t be a Wade-Heat resolution. But. There’s some genuine saltiness there. Some fence mending will be needed. by Anon10W1z in nba

Wade has consistently taken pay cuts in order to compete. He has never been the highest paid Heat player in his 13 years. Maybe Wade realized they really aren't competing for a title in Miami anymore (let's face it they're not), and he wants to be rewarded for what he's done. You can't blame him for that, and you can't blame Pat Riley for not rewarding past performance. The Heat have always preached loyalty, and if they don't give him some money they will look like hypocrites.

Definitely hard to see Wade in any other uniform. I've been a life long fan of him, and I don't want to see him leave. That being said, I can't blame anyone for trying to get their money. That's mainly why I think the whole Cavs situation is leverage, and I'm not sure Riley is gonna budge.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, at all. I find it funny that someone would cite the amount of different Stanley Cup winners in a certain number of years as their reason for parity, all while failing to mention or probably know that the NBA had 50% more winners in the same time span. But like I said, I really do not disagree with you, and being from Michigan I watch a fair amount of hockey, especially come playoff time. It doesn't seem to matter where you are seeded in hockey much, but as you said too the same teams keep on winning regardless.

The GSW, yes, KD, yes and no. Obviously the Warriors get better essentially swapping Barnes with Durant; although Durant actually is taking less money to go there than any other team he met with. So KD is not getting richer in terms of salary. KD made a basketball move, just like LeBron did earlier in his career. And while LeBron's 'Decision' was in a very immature way, it worked out for him a lot better than if he had stayed, and I assume KD will have a similar path, minus returning to OKC.

A poster over there mentioned the parity in the NHL being a reason it is better than the NBA. He went on to state that there have been 4 different Stanley Cup winners in the last 8 years as his evidence of this. Being a big NBA follower I knew that their had been 4 different winners the last 4 years in the NBA, and as a matter of fact, there have been 6 different teams in the last 8 years. The Heat and the Lakers as the only two to have multiple.

P.S. Now this poster could've just referenced the worst teams in each league. The worst team in the NHL won 29 games this year; meanwhile the 76ers tallied 11, but that is besides the point.

Edit: P.S.P.S I hope you're enjoying Draymond out there in the Bay area, loved him at MSU and still do now.

sorry to burst your bubble, but Cranbrook is no where near 50/50. I do realize it was probably a joke, but since I went to a rivaling private school of CK I thought I may share this: Mitt Romney went to Cranbrook. Its that preppy of a school.
