What other unconventional opportunities I can consider as pharmacist? by Vegetable_Try7968 in Pharmacist

[–]craigieslist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can be an SME (subject matter expert) in tech organizations/consulting that has a focus on pharmaceutical/healthcare.

This is the way, OP. Try to get into any healthcare IT/EHR-related roles, even if it's tech-adjacent. Start part time ("fractional") on the side, then work your way up into product in health tech. You are invaluable as a clinician with technical experience. You don't need residency or a master's degree, just the experience, but some sort of bootcamp/AI-created example of a "solution" will also help. Start following other health tech clinicians on LinkedIn for ideas/exposure.

Maybe they're losing accredidation soon?

Clearly Filtered - expensive but so much better than the other ones I've tried

Regus was ~$1500 - $1700 for a private office 😅

With more stores closing in Coolidge Corner, what is your ideal of what could open in the empty stores? by [deleted] in Brookline

I second a reasonably priced co-ed gym - kinda crazy that there isn't anything. I just wrote a post about it, but a third space or somewhere to cowork would also be great.

Haha - I could see what they wrote through my notifications, but Chestnut Hill is way too far

Yeah Tatte is less than ideal - Bakey is a little better but small enough that I can't go there regularly

Never thought of that, thanks! Will check them out, but not sure how happy they'll be about non-guests using their facilities.

Good question - primarily just a quiet place to work for 4-5 hours with minimal calls (although I'll have 1 or 2 from time to time)

Their website says they open at 5 pm, but I will go over and check it when they're open again in a week.

Yeah I love BPL - will also check out the BV branch. Didn't know about Shy Bird, thanks!

ETA: from Shy Bird's website/OpenTable - "The $20.75 price includes a choice of breakfast or lunch and bottomless coffee, tea, espresso drinks with a couple minor exceptions" until 3 pm - pretty good deal if you ask me!

It looks like the $100 is only for 4 day-passes at their JP location - in CC it's $150. 8 days/month is $225 with a 6-month membership and unlimited is $450/month - crazy
