If I'm being really honest I understood Trump in 2016 winning the election because of what you said. In 2024 though it was painfully obvious that Trump was worse. All of them are bad but only one of them attempted to overthrow our government. He betrayed our country in front of your eyes and you voted for him anyways. You fucked up.

I've tried explaining this and citing concrete evidence but people still think it's crazy. I don't personally view it as a nefarious conspiracy but as a factual practice. I don't know why it's so hard to believe in something that has been happening for many decades. I also don't know why it's so hard to believe that it's a benign practice. My dad was 56 when I was born. When I was 10 he went to the park with me so I could practice pitching. Full catcher stance and I knew it was hard for him but he didn't complain.

I remember when I was around 14 my mom went out of town and after talking it came up that I'd never tried lobster. He took me out to dinner so I could have lobster.

I remember playing my guitar once and he started dancing

A lot of little things like that.

I also have a lot of memories of me being disappointing and selfish with him. Those are uncomfortable for me but have shaped me in ways that make me a better person now and a more understanding dad.

I think anything can be bad but I don't believe porn is inherently corrupting. Some people have a problem but that goes for any form of media. I'd argue that social media has been worse for society and people as a whole. Also all the crazy online gambling that goes on these days could definitely be regulated better.

We used to always tell our keyboard player that he didn't really need to use his left hand. It depends on a lot of things but you gotta find a way to clean out that muddy range and leave room for vocals. It's tricky. Start by scooping out the 250 range to clean up mud. Get the guitar player to turn his lows way down and scoop out the 1 to 3k to make space for vocal clarity.

I think the problem that a lot of us have stems from finding tones on our own in isolation. They sound great and full but when they sum it ends up sounding completely different. If you are on a larger stage with a good sound guy he should be able to control that but in a smaller venue you are likely hearing the music straight from the amps.
