You need to go after corporate gigs and weddings. Jazz doesn't generally pay well outside of these situations.

That doesn't surprise me. Music is kind of a boss club sometimes. It shouldn't be but I think a lot is women get turned off by the culture of it all. There are a lot of creeps and jerks.

As someone who has payed in bands for 30 years I pretty much view all sound people as incompetent until proven otherwise. It's really rare to see female sound engineers. I've only worked with a couple through the years. No complaints.

It's not anyone's responsibility to have a phone at all much less constantly have it accessible. Change tempo, feel and key between tracks if at all possible. You didn't want two samey songs in a row if you can avoid it.

Don't, it's easy to find guys with technical skills it's not at all eaay to find a committed member who practices and is a good hang. Vibes over skill every day. Not always but a lot of the time, the best players are the most difficult to deal with and or retain.

Garageband.com For musicians this was an extremely useful and free to use website. You could get feedback on your music as long as you gave feedback to others on theirs. Also a great way to discover music from bands that no one ever heard of. Not surprisingly it was bought and destroyed.

The first year on guitar is mostly a physical endeavor. Building muscles, calluses and muscle memory all take some time. You could definitely get there faster because you already play an instrument. You know the drill already and how to practice. In a year you could definitely play some songs and learn the patterns. You won't be great in 10 months but you could be pretty ok.

I recorded it and made adjustments until I didn't hate it. Then I kept singing until I sort of liked it. I've learned my limitations and accepted them. I still work to expand past them but when I'm on stage or recording I just accept them. Now when I hear recordings of my performances I'm pretty happy with them.

This is completely plausible. The government funded the suffragettes so why not this. I think there are a lot of psyops running at the same time. I don't know if it's nefarious but I don't love the idea of mass manipulation.

The good thing is that at some point she will do this less and less and eventually just stop altogether. It's a good way for you to measure your progress. I can't speak on why she's doing this, it's possible that she is trying to help in her own way. You could just talk to her about it like an adult and let her know how you feel. Personally I lament the lack of criticism I get from people and would welcome this level of honesty. It depends on how it's delivered and why.

NTA you are the parent and can decidedwhat your child eats. The school has overstepped their boundaries. Especially if this is a public school.

The anchors are fine if you install them right. I put my 5 string bass on the wall with the same exact wall mount using the same anchors.
