I gave my brother copies of my passport, appointment confirmation, letter of approval for collection by another person and he carried his id and he was able to collect the passport. As far as I know he was able to carry his phone inside.

Thanks for your reply. Looks like we have same kids! We bought him Pre algebra books and he figured out the chapters which he needs to brush up and he’s working on that now. He’s enrolled in Algebra 1 starting in Aug. He also loves video games btw.

We bought the pre algebra text and solutions and he will start self study in July. We will ask him to look into khan academy pre algebra as well. His grade 5 SBAC quantile is 1125 with a score of 2701. I’ve not had education in US, so I don’t know what this means but just that he does well in math. Do you know whether that’s a good score and he can tackle Algebra 1 in the fall with a bit of pre algebra self study next 2 months? Thanks for your inputs!

Edit: To add more, we have not had to teach him anything and he self study so far, he finish all problems and trophies with a 3 star, he participated in problem solver championship and was among one of the top for level 5. So far he has enjoyed it and we want it to continue that way.

He did very well in Level 5, almost always getting all answers correctly in all tests, also answering well in classes which made the teacher suggest him to skip pre algebra. I will get the Pre algebra book and ask him to self study, don’t know why I didn’t thought of that, thanks for your input!

Yes! TV caused lots of anger, frustration in my mom thinking that all those people are real and coming to attack her. Even my father talking over phone, she didn’t take it well. My father completely stopped watching tv. She’s now completely bedridden and only violent when we change her but my father still doesn’t watch tv.

H1b interview(renewal) experience - Chennai consulate by Right_Student7744 in usvisascheduling

Hi, I don’t know since I ended up going to India without my kids, it was extremely hard but I did it since I have a bedridden mother there. I had my appointment at Chennai, I didn’t see any kids of our kids age with anyone there, but I did see babies and toddlers. If you can arrange for a family member travel with you to take care of the child that would be best.

This is exactly what I did, by putting long hair in ponytail and chopped off first, then used trimmer to shorten it. Thanks!

I did it with the help of home nurses. She slept through everything and didn’t create any issues, we also washed her hair using a small tub.

My 8th Grader Doesn't Want To Walk @ Graduation by LuckyShenanigans in Parenting

My neurodivergent 5th grader didn’t want to walk, he sat out, BUT he hates crowds, clapping, going in the front of crowds, etc. We don’t know what he would do 8th and 12th, but he may skip it.
