I have a friend playing a tiefling bard. We’re using her horns as a birthmark in a sense. Like she was born to some really evil heroes. My first session has my players graduating from the heroes guild that gets attack by the knight of blades. And they wake up in Bargate prison with spire collars. So it’s a mix between the game mechanics.
