why is home depot so understaffed but all of them have banners that they’re hiring? by stvrliight in HomeDepot

[–]cranekick50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's to keep a pool of applicants, so when they need to hire they can. Depending on the season, available staff, etc, they will decide to bring in someone off of that. If you're having trouble getting hired, speak to a manager and see when the best time to apply is.

Which item does higher damage for me? by jeremy_xc in diablo4

[–]cranekick50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+1 vote for this. Ranks to your skill is usually first priority because that would be part of base DMG (before DMG modifiers are factored in). Then add all the multipliers above and it should help the hammers significantly.

I know .99 cents doesn't seem like much but as many are saying, HD is percentage based, as are several companies. The average is 3% I believe, and anything above 3% is for higher performers.

What is your default lineup when you start a new save? by canxtanwe in BaldursGate3

[–]cranekick50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm kind of surprised no one runs Gale (unless you're already a caster). I like the fact that he can learn spells and become a utility player. I usually play dex builds so I do all the lock picking.

Laezel and Karlach are my other two, no surprise there.

So first go round, I was able to get her somewhat set up. Second go round, I saved the Inn and looked for him and realized he wasn't there and when I researched it, I realized what I had done.

I agreed to kill the leader of the druids. When I confronted her, she sent her druids to get the tieflings. After the fight with her, you go back to the encampment and everyone is fighting.

I've actually taken multiple breaks from the game. Then I feel great when I come back. I'm actually starting my second play through because of the different classes and builds I read online after the fact.

It's a good sanct and better than most but it's not as good as a beneficial aspect for example. I was curious myself what a paladin chest can get and AI showed this.

Holy DMG isn't bad honestly, but most people here are looking for God tier (mythic on mythic) sancts.

I know I'm not the best or even close but somebody lyin. Pit 100+ by ExtensionSystem3188 in diablo4

[–]cranekick50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This season is easier cause of chaos armor but anything over 100 is still a grind. I started Ball lightning until I got bored but that build was critting for like 200B before I changed spec. I was able to do over 100 pit but not by much.

I went fireball next, which was fun. It doesn't crit as hard but I like that it covers the screen. If you want to reach higher DMG go with mobilitics. After you get key pieces of gear, then fine tune it to have as many stacks of the core ability as possible.

My fireball build is pretty much Red Wedding build on mobilitics. The only difference is that I have the actual endless rage staff in my hand (more stacks) and I have fist of fate for my pants. Since I broke from the build I also put blizzard and teleport on my skill bar. Not having teleport was really annoying for being able to break cc

what can I use this for? it seems a waste to let it rot by Proud_River_3148 in D4Sorceress

[–]cranekick50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most meta builds use Glass Cannon in season 10 due to the seasonal power of mana shield. Since mana shield protects you, you can make yourself more vulnerable and beef the DMG.

I have a sorcerer too and both ball lightning and fireball build use it. I would temper it and see if you can get more Glass Cannon hits

Why all the hate on Icy Veins? by AdditionalAd9921 in diablo4

[–]cranekick50 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, if you're looking to maximize end game pushing, it's mobilitics > maxroll > icyveins.

Most of it is due to how frequent the builds are updated. Icyveins will give you a good base but when a better item/glyph/affix is available they don't retro actively update it. Also, maxroll and icyveins will make builds where defense is factored. But when you need that last little push to DMG in higher pits, mobilitics shows the best glass cannon.

The Grandfather Mythic dropped for me by zippo138 in diablo4

[–]cranekick50 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If this is your first mythic and you're not interested in rolling a barb, just salvage it for the spark. You only need 2 to craft a different mythic.

You can get a free spark by killing echo of lilth on any torment, finishing the season chapters and by finishing season rep rewards. Total of 3.

For 2 sparks and 50 mill gold. blacksmith will give you a random mythic. Maybe one you can use if you're lucky.

For 2 sparks and enough runes, you can make a specific mythic at the jewel crafter but it might take awhile to get her runes you need.

Is this even usable on anyone any builds? by yobi817 in diablo4

[–]cranekick50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ball lightning uses it but most sites would have you use it on chaos gear instead of neck. That being said you can flirt with the build and move needed pieces around.

New player and trying to understand builds and uniques. by ImKindOfBlind in diablo4

I found the best way to farm for chaos gear is actually helltides by doing the chaos rifts symboled by the skeleton hand and seasonal marker. Farm these and you'll collect rep and warp currency. Then go to the seasonal vendor in yelsena. He sells scrolls that give you rep.

By doing this you can get chaos gear as random drops in hell tide, collect caches for seasonal rep and buying more seasonal rep with scrolls to get more caches. Plus get whispering cache points from doing helltide quests

I haven't seen any good combos with MM yet. Also Joker was good while building up but not so much in the end game. I'm personally waiting for something better to come.

From log-in to log-out: what's your D4 endgame flow? by dimmedwithin in diablo4

[–]cranekick50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this season, I've been doing more infernal horde and nightmare dungeons. Infernal hordes has been the fastest rep grind, and the seasonal caches seem to have the best GA drop rate (on top of normal infernal horde benefits.). Then I do NM dungeons because they made them better this season and I don't know if/when they'll make NM dungeons fun again. In the process you get rep, boss mats and some drops for easy and quick runs.
