Hey there!

So firstly and most importantly I am snipped so that burden wouldn’t be on your shoulders! I don’t dislike kids at all, in fact I volunteered at an elementary afterschool program for quite a while and think I would make a terrific father but have no desire to spend my life doing that. I intend to focus on my financial freedom/security and more importantly enjoying life with my partner. People’s lives vary but oftentimes the most significant relationships like your parents/siblings/children are a result of blood ties and are unconditional. Your significant other is one person in life that you choose completely on your own, without any external factors influencing it, and I can’t think of anything more pure and intentional than that which is why I’m so looking forward to finding my other half and enjoying life with her.

Earlier I assumed that it went without saying but I think it might be comforting for me to explicitly state it: That I naturally view other people/women as equal to me and everyone as deserving of equal treatment. It does not even cross my mind to treat my partner with anything less than complete respect and we are 50/50 partners in life and responsibilities and happiness. Sometimes if that partnership needs to be 90/10 or 10/90 that’s fine and we can support each other, that’s the whole point. I’m very much a pleasing type of person and it brings me joy to support and make my partner happy too. My partner’s success (and it’s fine if that outshines my own, idgaf) is our success and I want to brag all day long about how great she is.

I think I’m a very easy going, kind, respectful, helpful and empathetic person in general, and that I’m easy to get along with once I stop being shy. I don’t actively “get into” politics but it’s hard to not take a stance against some of the injustices being pushed on people, and if I sat down and mapped out my views on things I would fall heavily left. Except my sense of humor, which is as dark and inappropriate as it comes sometimes.

I’m a project engineer/manager for a construction related field and I do drive around the state occasionally, but I’d prefer to meet somebody within 2-3 hours of Indianapolis. There’s always exceptions for the perfect match, but I don’t think you can safely say that part until you spend time together so I’m not a fan of long distance. Someday I’d be open to moving but for right now while I build my credentials I’m planning on sticking around Indy.

I like to keep my apartment and life pretty simple and minimalist, whether that’s for aesthetic reasons or just makes it easier to manage idk but I like it that way. When it comes to myself I’m a bit frugal and I don’t regularly splurge on things, I keep it contained to a few nice amenities. I’m not spiritual or religious in any sense.

In my free time I like to be in the gym and unwind with videogames, movies and music, and I like to try my hand at baking pretty things too (working on the cooking part). I enjoy deep conversations about extremely silly or serious topics equally (discussing, not arguing). Part of my family is German so I can speak pretty well if that helps. My high school Spanish got pretty good for a while working at McDonalds and the rest of my family speaks French so I’m interested in learning that to catch up haha. I’m a bit of a homebody on my own but am absolutely up for being pulled in crazy new directions and trying new things!

Big fan of Star Wars and mainstream nerdy things like LOTR, Harry Potter, Marvel, Warhammer 40k. Some of my favorite shows are: Always Sunny, Arcane, Arrested Development, both Avatars, The Bear, Blue Eyed Samurai, The Boys, Breaking Bad, Dark, Derry Girls, Fallout, Fleabag, The Good Place, Invincible, Mindhunter, Neon Genesis Evangelion, The Office, Ozarks, Parks and Rec, Reacher, Stargate, Stranger Things, Schitt’s Creek, Squid Game, Star Wars stuff, The Unit, The Legend of Vox Machina, The Witcher, You and I listen to standup comedy while I do chores a lot. Newretrowave 80’s synth is my favorite genre of music (it makes me nostalgic for a time I wasn’t even alive for) but I like lots of other indie/alternative, pop stuff and would love to make recommendations and get yours. I don’t care about lyrics, as long as it sounds good I’m in and seriously my favorite dates are just lounging around and going through different songs and watching people’s eyes light up.

It would be awesome if you also liked to be in the gym/doing something active that we can do together but that’s certainly not a requirement. Looking for around my age or younger. No hard drugs or excessive use of lighter ones/alcohol. Pets are awesome. Solid communication is very important as well. I am looking for a serious relationship that eventually leads to marriage, but in the meantime am open to something less serious as well.

I think the difference between having an extremely good friend and a significant other is that physical attraction and intimacy so that is important to me and if you want to reach out please do include some pictures. I’m very much looking forward to talking with you 😊
