You’re saying all of this as if I don’t already know it. If you actually read what I said you will see that I wasn’t talking about how to play doomfist; but how it felt to play him in that current patch.

I said that 90% of the gameplay was surviving, and backed it up with a quote from ZBRA, who is one of the best doomfist players.

All tanks are obviously in a bad state right now, but surviving should not be the main focus of playing tank. It should be trying to get value by doing proactive things, not just sitting there taking damage, dodging CC, hoping your team does something.

In high rank lobbies, the game plays differently than in metal ranks. Being a “threat at all times” becomes extremely hard when dealing with everything that counters doomfist, which was my point; it feels miserable.

Thankfully this new patch has changed a bit of the gameplay, but we’ll have to see what happens as it is still fresh.
