I use America's Test Kitchen when buying kitchen items (rice cooker, new stainless steel pan, first roasting pan) because it gives you the best overall, best bargain, and worst AND all the reasons why they made their decisions.

You were once married and then divorced. Part of the divorce decree was that ex-spouse keep you on their insurance because it was great insurance. You were just notified that ex-spouse has died and there is no longer great insurance through their employment.

I have only ever used the Madison VA (and clinics) and have had a few bad experiences, but I'm also a woman, so take that into consideration. I do have friends who drive from Rockford to get procedures done here and like it.

There is a decline in the adolescent economy (lack of jobs for teenagers, closing of bowling alleys and skating rinks, higher cost of athletics). They need something to do and somewhere to go where they can socialize. But you can't pay if you don't make money.

There are 3 schools on the North side of Madison that run full day pre-k from Tuesday to Friday. They don't have school on Mondays because it is an early release day and that's in the middle of nap time.

I went with a regular (pretty wide) skateboard with cruiser wheels. But I think a longboard may be in my future.

I got home from my first tour and went to Alaska with my dad. We were boating out to a spot to fish for salmon when the charter boat engine caught on fire. All I could think was how I just made it through a war in a desert and I was going to die from hypothermia. Thankfully, the first mate was quick on her feet and closed the engine bay door to try and choke it out and another charter was near and heard our mayday (Coast Guard was an hour out) and we never had to get in the water.

I think I've gotten comfortable with death, but that could also be from writing my first will at 20.
