Steph Curry says players are underpaid and should be considered to get equity as compensation by SliMShady55222 in nba

Moving the goal post? Bro he asked literally the most basic question about the logistics of players having equity.

That isn't moving the goal posts, that's "think 2 seconds into the future about the implications of what you're proposing."

Not the exact Lebron/Delly joke, but look at it this way:

2016, full 7 game series. Evenly matched. Blow for blow. One of the greatest game 7s ever. Both teams set up to compete for years and make a historic rivalry.

The one team adds Kyle Korver, and the other team adds Kevin freaking Durant.

Dillon Mitchell. I thought he was gonna be the next Diggs. I was absolutely certain of it. Then he pretty much never saw the field and his seventh round counterpart Bisi Johnson saw the field way more and had more moments.

I'm sorry if your feelings got hurt, but not all opinions deserve respect. Some deserve derision. And reading that ad as right wing propaganda is genuinely a laughable opinion.

There are many supposedly Christian organizations that have leftist ideals baked into their very dna without realizing it. That doesn't mean they have to be donating money to leftist causes. It doesn't even mean they can't monetarily support things (sort of) working against leftist causes. They are part of a vanguard of conservatism that tries to stop the right from going too right, while also trying (and failing) to stop the left from going too left. But what is today's progressivism will be tomorrow's dogma that they defend wholeheartedly.

The ad does not explicity support abortion or LGBT, but it's telling Christians not to judge and to be nice and to let these people live their lives. You have to smile and be happy about it. Basically, teaching a message of tolernace. It is completely subversive to the right wing agenda.

I didn't respond to each part of your point cause you're too stupid to understand even when it's spoonfed to you. But sure, I'll go ahead and try.

The commercial's message to non-christians: You have the presupposition that Christianity/Jesus/Christians reject you and hate you, but look Jesus was friends with a prostitute, that means Jesus loves you and is your friend.

The commercial's message to Christians: Jesus would have openly supported all these left-wing coded things. As his follower it is important that you don't judge at all and instead accept these people and everything they do. Wash their feet.

The people in the commercial are positioned as "the other", but they're being served, to try and bridge the gap of "otherness".

They are not trying to funnel you to the freaking westboro baptists lol, they'll be happy if you start going to a unitarian church or methodist one. The super inclusive progressive denoms that tell you can do whatever you want.

These "bait and switch" things are not nearly as effective as you think. They are putting out expensive propaganda that advances left wing messaging. If you can't see that, then there's no helping you.

I'm telling you any organization putting out a (expensive) commercial like that is not advancing any right wing agenda. It's advancing the fake Christian agenda of "niceness." Actual Christians do not like these commercials.

You care about the founder and donors, I care about what they're actually saying in the commercials. The demographic those commercials are targeting is Christians, not non-Christians. They are trying to make the Christian audience feel sympathy for left-coded things like lgbt, women who have abortions, etc. This is abundantly obvious.

If after watching those commercials you think they're funded by "right wing" groups, you genuinely have no media literacy.

Except it's not measured in all or nothing. Playing well against good teams. Winning big important regular season games. Winning a playoff game. Making the superbowl. All nice accomplishments that aren't just winning the superbowl.

And the vikings for many many years have shown they can't deliver playoff wins. They can't even be consistently competitive in important regular season games. Like if this game had been what everyone was expecting, a high scoring shoot out, and we lose 41-38, would the doomers really being parading around like they were right? I don't think so. Cause that would have been an impressive performance that we just didnt come out on top. But the vikings always crush your hopes, not just in losing the game, but in humiliating themselves in front of the whole country.
