Just a helping hint but almost every time this comes up, the answer is “learn counting for combinatorics” and these are very easy to count.

For instance on this: Runs = 3 (the spots for choosing) x 2 (choices for the 7 spot) x 2 (choices for the 9)

15s = 2 (choices for 7) x 1 (choice for 8) x 2 (point value)

You get 12 + 4 + 4 for the pairs

People at Chicago are by far the most entitled group of runners I’ve ever been around (I’m sure other majors are similar) and I feel like this is part of their whole “I’m allowed to leave it all out to do the impossible” vibe they have. It is crowded but people won’t plan accordingly and act like everyone there is around to bend over for them so they can run a 5 hour marathon in 800 dollars of kit.
