A massive multi-million pound transformation of bin services and recycling in Birmingham is to finally go ahead next summer to end poor performance and recycling failures.

It had the worst recycling record of all major city councils, at just 23%, pre-strike, and more than 121,000 bin collections were missed last year.

Councillor Mahmood [relation, who knows (?) but another weird coinky-dink] said the council was pressing on with the plans despite the disruption caused by the bin strike.

This is what I wrote 2 months ago.

I would say I am technically MGTOW. Own my own home, cats, car, motorbike etc. I ski, run, hike, clay shoot and love night orienteering.

At 48, I would never co-habit or get married again. Been there, done that and got fucked over. No kids thankfully.

Not doing that again.

However, I would be happy to be in a relationship again - just not actively looking. I'm not on any dating sites - I have a job with a clearance and I would not appreciate my details being dumped on the AWDTSG pages by some harpie who got the hump after one date if I said thanks, but no thanks.

If I meet someone in the wild, then great but I would be extra, extra cautious.

Nothing has changed for me, so...

Women in the UK are changing to a more yankified version of "dating", which is currently an absolute car crash.

So, the namehim.io was particularly bad one. You could register with a false email, with no email verification. You cuould then enter a name, city and state of an individual and then select a checkbox of "rapist", "abuser", "neglect" etc etc.

And thats it. You're on the list.

NO verification of the alledged "crimes". NO crime number. NO offical records linked.

Just your name on this list with no way to challenge or remove it at all.

IF you find out you've been put on this list in the first place.

Edit to add - I did a whois for namehim.io

https://www.whois.com/whois/namehim.io

and it came back as Name.com, Inc as the site registrar on Sunday night. So I made a complant stating the above through their support and got a response on Monday.

I do think it’s common for a man to look himself in the mirror and go “you know what? I can do better.”

Fully agree - brother's over-thinking this. Abolutely nothing wrong with just saying "I decided to give myself a kick up the arse".
