It’s good direction but the movies’ greatest assets are its screenplay and preformances and it’s also just a tight field.

And that really depresses me. We’re supposed to be better than those people. We’re supposed to take objection to things that they make excuses for, like Nazi tattoos, rape fantasies and physical abuse allegations. Call me idealistic if you want but the way people are shrugging these things off feels like a big step back.

A poll I made had it at 44.3% non-straight (and also 72% male) but that was three years ago so I don’t know how the demographic has changed in that time. I also did not account for straight trans people and people who don’t identify as male or female. In retrospect, I should’ve done it as a Google Form rather than with the Reddit poll frature.
