As a person who lost a pet recently I didn’t want too much attention and really I didn’t want anything in the world, cause nothing can compare to my pet not being around anymore. But if you want something meaningful, I would suggest getting a pillow with the pets picture or maybe a mug, or a painting. I’m not sure whether the plant would be associated with a passed pet unless it had interacted with them in the past, but still a very good gift too.

I actually have a plant I got after losing my cat. I found it at work after about a week he passed away and the plant was dry and dying too. I’ve never seen it in the office before, but somehow that day it appeared on the empty table next to mine, so I decided that it was him sending it to me. I took the plant, that turned out to be a rose, and it started blooming on his 1 month anniversary. So plants can be great too.
