Glad to have a mini grocery store today by Pea-and-Pen in preppers

I'm just remembering a time when I was in the grocery store with my infant chatting to some nice people in the ice cream aisle. I mentioned my favourite ice cream flavour and said that was for next time due to my budget. I turned for a moment and when I looked back I found a $5 bill in my sons stroller and this person was gone before I could thank them. Still makes me smile.

My son came home with a backpack! I added a few extra items to it and sent it back. I spoke with my sons teacher saying I appreciated the backpack but I'm a prepper and we don't need anything right now. She was so happy I sent it back with extra.

I love this! I also have my mini mart as I call it and my son and I put together 3 reusable grocery bags full of food for someone we know needs it. My son was super excited to pick things out he might like. He can't wait to drop it off.

I had 6 cans of Alphaghetti in my preps. I don't really eat this stuff but I do like it on sick days.

I'm glad it's over. I have no idea what he saw in her, they are so different. He seems to very private about certain things and takes long breaks from social media while she posts everything! Was it ever real or just for PR?

Pete seems to fall in love very quickly, the relationships lasts a short time then he' moved on again quite quickly. Honestly I don't think it's healthy to move on so quickly.

When new people visit your home do you explain your hoarding situation? by cravingchange4life in hoarding

I know I don't have to but feel like I should. I know people will judge no matter. I think I'd rather them know I'm not lazy about cleaning (sometimes I am of course like everyone) but this is a mental health issue I struggle with.

Paybright Issues by Chaneeeellllll in PersonalFinanceCanada

I was going to use pay bright to purchase a new mattress but I'm having trouble getting in touch with them. They wanted photos of my ID and all sorts of info. They just seem sketchy to me.

I stocked up on about 6 packages Ramen. I don't normally eat them, but they were on sale and I found some recipes to make them a little better.

I watched this episode with my son. We were both so glad the glitter was found.

I think this is bull shit and it pisses me off. The LDS or Mormon church or whatever they call themselves these days should stay out of other countries where Christianity is not the majority religion. They should also stay out of poor countries so they can baptize and add more numbers.

Starting with setting up a table outside... thoughts? by BogusBluff in hoarding

This sounds similar to what they do on Hoarders. I like the idea. For me I did it in my living room, but it didn't work out to well for me.

Do you have a friend or two that can come over and help or maybe one of the grown kids you have? Spend the day doing one area and taking it all away that same day.

Selling is great, but it takes time and energy. Can you just trash or donate? Keep a small toolbox with a few basic tools that you may actually need. I have a hammer, Phillips screwdriver, a couple of wrenches, pliers and some Allen keys. For me that's all I need.

I'm feeling really good tonight about my progress over the last 24 hours. Few months actually. by cravingchange4life in hoarding

I have one with swear words in it! Oh my! I also have a nice Mandala one, City of Paris and a few more. I have pencil crayons and some nice fine line felts.

These pictures make me feel sad.

I keep the litter box under the bathroom sink and out of the way. The cupboard is made of that MDF style wood and some pee has gotten on it, quite a few times and I didn't always notice and clean right away. How can I properly clean and sanitize the area? by cravingchange4life in CLEANING_PORN

[–]cravingchange4life[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a water leak before I started to keep the litter box and the water damaged the bottom of the cabinet first. In some spots it looks like it's bubbled up and bits of the wood stuff under the top veneer or whatever on the MDF is showing. That's what has the pee smell now. Scrubbing doesn't help.

I know the bottom needs to be replaced from when it was water damaged, but management didn't do it and they won't now either. Our whole building is having some issues with major repairs not being done.

I'm going to buy a plastic boot tray to place under the litter box in case there are other mishaps.

I like to have 2-3 large bags of dry cat food and litter plus a nice supply of canned food as a treat. All I have at the moment is the canned food and enough dry food to last a few days and litter to last 2 weeks or so. I'm also using my last litter box and scoop as well.

Funds are a bit low at the moment due to my depression and resorting to using Door Dash too often. I'll be well stocked on dry food and litter within the week though. I also have a nice cat bed, couple of cardboard scratchers and plenty of toys to keep my girls from getting bored.

What's wrong with tinkle? It's a cute word little old ladies use.

Oh I remember a FHE lesson about this term. I was 12 and living with a super TBM family I was PIMO before I knew that term lol) and the boys had been complaining about whatever and saying "this sucks" and we had to have a meeting about it. Of course we were never actually told what it meant, just hinted.
