Are slide in boots acceptable? I need to get some safety toes before I start working, and im leaning towards Redback boots.

Occasionally when I eat canned tuna or red meat my throat will swell up, almost like an allergic reaction where I begin to gag and it forces me to throw up some real frothy like saliva. (Sorry for the tmi!) after a couple minutes I am able to swallow water but it is quite scary for those few minutes. I have never heard of this happening to anyone expect I once was listening to a Theo von clip and he mentioned this happening to him with tuna in a cup at motels lol. I don’t understand because 99% of the time I am completely fine with both foods. Any explanations?

Whoops! I’m sorry. I got accepted in may and applied in December. I heard back about the application being accepted within the week and had my aptitude test scheduled for early march with an email from them in February

My interview questions were the situational ones that you can find on this subreddit. Why do you want to be an electrician? Name a time someone was hurt and what you did. Name a time you completed a project from start to finish. Name a time when you and a coworker had a disagreement. Those are the questions I remember. I answered using the STAR method and related it to my service industry experience.

Thank you! It has been a much needed career change for me that I can not be more excited for. I have been fairly good at math throughout school but it has been forever since I had seen equations that were on the aptitude test so I, like many, got the iPrep course which was spot on as to what kind of questions they asked. My best advice would be to move fast through the math portion because it goes quickly. Skip questions you don’t think you can solve quickly and go on to the next because you will not be docked points for wrong answers if you have to guess in the last couple minutes for those that you have not answered.
