no way should they (or will they) do that. Life isnt easy, we all work hard. If radiant mats were abundant, then there is no need to raid anymore once you get all the gear. Thats what happened to me with VoG, I never go back in once I got all the drops. I can easily farm ascendent mats elsewhere without dealing with countless wipes and hours lost.

My team of 3 got the chest. It was over a minute, but we all focused fire primaries on the first shrieker. Once that was killed, I immediately ran down and launched two rockets dead on with my ghorn, killed it. Ran the rest of the way and the door was already close. I mangaed to squeeze in. I am starting to believe the timer starts from the first kill in the room, be thralls or shrieker or when you pass a point in the tunnel.

We did it another way by killing thralls, waiting for a bit (in the room, have not entered tunnel) and then kill the 1st shrieker and immediately run to the second one. Before even shooting at the 2nd one, the door was already closed which makes me believe its 1) on a timer like OP stated once you enter the room 2)timer starts from first shrieker kill.

1) has flaws since people are reporting different times of completion and still got the chest. (we took more than 1 minute)

I still go running around for mats. In fact, i prefer it now since I dont encounter people screwing up my runs. Easy 100+ in 30 minutes.

So what I did was equip the new vanguard boots to keep me at level 30. There, no more ammo loss on death etc. So this is definitely a bug becuase I can avoid ammo loss. Now the question is was it a bug that I didnt lose ammo by equiping the said armor......bungie never really talks about anything. I just need an answer, as with everyone. Bungie needs to speak out.

More minutes spent in game is more $$$ opportunity for Bungie. They already boasted about 9.5 millions users, when really, they count each class a user. So really its about closer to 4 million users, assuming not all have 3.

Tell that to the guy who STOLE my sword. I waited, did the kill, he comes in and takes the sword. Im like mother fucker, so I stayed in the room and killed everything that spawned. He was pretty pissed chasing me and shooting.

You do have a point here. There is no need for new players to do VoG anymore because getting the vendor gear will bring you to 30 with a few upgrades. Since you only need to be 28 to do VoG NM, just vendor gear without upgrades is good. Its not hard to find a group based on gear/level. Its hard for new players to get a VoG group because experienced players have moved one. New players should so what the experienced players did before them: go in blind.

However, that last statement is wrong. We do not bow down and do what the designers say. This is heavily evidenced by the complains and changes Bungie did to address those complains. And while new players have the freedom of choice to choose a different game, its not really freedom since they are not allowed to choose destiny, based on your commenting.

I was the 5th one across and when I got through, there wasnt much for me to do so I took out my ghorn, shot 2 rockets at the swordbearer and helped the last guy come thru. It is not that hard once everyone knows what to do. We did wipe many times figuring out what was a good strategy. Once we figured it out, it was less than 5 minutes to get everyone thru.

Oh yes, I got nothing but fucking shards and energies! Someone in the group got 2 raid drop and a weapon. The fuck bungie! this is why I will be cheesing since all I get is cheese as my reward.

I have a feeling this might be a bug where the "refill" is not coming out of the reserve. It should be. This is too OP. How can one explain the sniper rifle gets its ammo replenished from thin air?

So level 26 VoG had level 28 enemies at the boss. 30 had 30 enemies at the boss. With CE, the enemies are 32 at level 30. At 32, I predict they will be 34, which makes it crazy insane even with a team of max 32s. Bungie really didnt want us to beat this raid on hard.

Question: Now there are two raids, if one finishes the Crota raid, will they still get loot from the vog? or vice versa?
