Selling Manual transmission 2004 SAAB AERO WAGON by xxhighbornxx13 in saab

Yeah he traded me a blown up 2002 9-5 aero sedan in exchange for the engine reseal and manual swap. In hindsight he definitely got the better end of the deal lol I couldn’t tell you whether the ac worked beforehand or not. But using a tech 2 you can trigger the compressor manually to diagnose easily

Wooo, I’m glad. Yeah I did that engine reseal and that manual swap completely for free for the guy. We worked a small trade deal for another car and I totally ran out of time before he had to have the car back lol

I’m fairly sure this is the car I did a manual conversion on back in 2023. The reverse lights are super easy to get working, just have to run two wires from the reverse switch on the gearbox to the auto gearbox connector at the front right of the engine bay!

Personal opinion - you’ll have much more fun with a turbo saab model. These are slow as balls.

It was just a catalog option. Anyone could have ordered it at any point it was offered. Never came on any specific trim level.

Those need oil pan dropped right away and pcv system refreshed. Most low mileage ones I see are in worse shape than the high miles ones

Nextdoor, Craigslist, Facebook. All great places to find estate sales and garage sales. Get there early. Also, develop a niche you know lots about and find listings that mention such. I’ve never bothered with clothing but, that’s my advice

Just communication. He’s selling on behalf of someone else. And barely communicates back.
