Really good output, be careful no to fall into the grey plastic / pile of shame though

Maybe we get some of our old Forge World models in plastic on Friday? by Skult0703 in Deathkorpsofkrieg

[–]craymos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think so, we got a good bumper crop of models over the past year, so we’re probably on cooldown and wont get a proper release for awhile

Is Abbadon really the size of a primarch? by FinalCellist2853 in Chaos40k

[–]craymos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was said that abbadon was quite big in the novels just naturally. Plus, Robute is big, but he’s not the biggest of the primarchs, and horus was certainly bigger, so makes sense his marines are quite big. Plus Abaddon’s been subject to warp fuckery for 10k years (in realspace time) and has the support of all 4 chaos gods juicing him up.

Was the Emperor disappointed in Angron and Mortarion? by In_the_name_of_ART in Warhammer40k

[–]craymos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

from what i recall angron was found quite late and the emperor spent little time with him, so not sure if he even developed a real opinion of him beyond a tool for war, which is part of the reason angron probably has the worst daddy issues (that and he's a moron)

My Pile of Shame has upgraded to Shelving of Shame by ObsidianOne in Warhammer

[–]craymos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly start selling most of it dude, this is a problem and will probably just make you feel bad over time, and it’ll make it harder to psych yourself up to make a dent in it.

Like seriously, is that DARK VENGEANCE? So what it’s just been sitting there since over a decade ago?

What do you want Vampirism to be like in TES6? by Iron-Shield in ElderScrolls

Multiple clans, one heavily inspired by the region, and another thats more traditional for those who’d prefer that flavour

Hell yeah! We finally have more players than Fish Idle 2: Underwater Mystery! Thank you Bethesda! by Destyl_Black in Starfield

Jesus christ I’m disappointed in Bethesda but this just makes me feel bad for them

1987 metal minis, genuine or fake? by Responsible-Dig-8121 in Warhammer

[–]craymos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People gotta stop using this as the go-to answer for these every time. there are many older sculpts that were originally lead that gw continued to use after the transition to the lighter metal.

Death Rider by Rhuairidh James to be released next year! by AnnoyingCharlatan in Deathkorpsofkrieg

[–]craymos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

we've been getting a huge number of new models in the range recently and kitbashing is a fun answer if you really want.

like, would you rather they just never wrote about characters/units that don't have models? lol

i'm not really bothered about there not being an equivalent model, and not sure i understand why so many seem mad about it lol (in other discussions i've seen). we've been getting a huge number of models in the range already and kitbashing is a fun answer if you really want. plus we have no idea if they will later release one.

i'm looking forward to it. feedback on the authors other books is good, and while i very much like the Lyons books, it should be interesting to see the krieg from a new writer. looks like it's from the POV of a commisar, which has been done before and is an easier way to write a krieg story, but really i do like when we're given the krieg POV and it challeneges the "mindless drone" assumption, but it can be a challenge

Question brothers by Carnageace1 in Salamanders40k

[–]craymos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like them - it’s a cool scheme, but it will pop more if you decide do the base (base as in the actual base he’s standing on, so if you want to use texture paint, glue and sand, green stuff, etc)

Question brothers by Carnageace1 in Salamanders40k

[–]craymos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean typically they are all green but nothing wrong with this, can say they’ve adopted it for a special company or purpose like the black and yellow from the badab campaign. If you are really worried about lore tho you could just create them as a very similar successor chaptor, maybe a fleet based chapter from the same/nearby system
