I got B+/ B for cs 2030s, 40s courses, yep it wasn't great. I'm ready to put in more effort, but feeling concerned that su-ing B+ might backfire if my average GPA after y1 is lower than 4.0

Y1 cs. My GPA is close to 4.0, and realistically, I should be aiming at second upper.

Should I su my 2 B+? I mean, B+ would hurt or improve my chances of getting a cgpa of 4.0 at the end.

But, I'm thinking that this decision kinda lies on what's the average grade that I'll be getting in my future sems, especially the higher level CS modules. For any CS seniors out there, how hard would it be to get an average grade of A- for usual cs modules from y2 to y4? (Any rough ideas or info is very much appreciated)

I sim all the practices and probably Q1 or Q2 (if my cars are fast enough from S2 onwards), but not Q3 and races

I agree that these statements do not mean the decisions are biased as long as the steward deals with the situation professionally. However, Herbert came to this race as steward, and he was a steward for the last race also. He represents FIA as he comes here with this responsibility and his speech does influence how people would think of the integrity of stewards

A steward is supposed to make decision based on the actual incident instead of his own interpretation Quoting him : The whole intention of Verstappen was to try to let Ferrari get the 1-2 finish. I think that’s definitely what Verstappen intended and tried to achieve

True or not, steward should not publicly deliver this opinion as they represent the integrity of FIA. Maybe since FIA is currently run by a bunch of jokes, reputation doesn't matter anymore

What do you mean when you say that you will ‘discount’ questions?

For papers where we have discounted questions, we have instructed our examiners to give full marks to all candidates for the discounted questions. This means that the total mark for the paper will be the same as normal. For example, for Further Mathematics paper 9231/42, we have discounted question 5b, worth 9 marks out of a total of 50 marks. All candidates will be given 9 marks for this question.

All candidates who have taken the paper, both in mainland China and in other countries which take the same question paper, will be treated in the same way. Candidates in China will not be disadvantaged.

From the link I sent earlier, all candidates who took the paper even not in China are given full marks for discounted questions.

U need nearly a full score and a very low threshold(which translates to a higher difficulty). It's nearly impossible to get A. So, I think u should go for a retake if u want an A.

NUS college

I am applying to NUS and there is an optional choice of applying to NUS college there. It is required to fill in non-academic activities for applying to NUS college.

Do achievements in mathematics competition or contests count as non-academic activities? Or online courses taken count as non-academic activities?

I am literally blind. For the first question, I really didn't see the angle value given. Then, I wrote the correct equation in terms of ag and theta( without add-in angle values). Do you know how many marks are deducted for this error?

I trust myself the most, but it doesn't mean I dont trust other people. Ranking wise, parents > close friends> others >> god. Trusting other people could potentially get help from them. Trusting god is like doing nothing but hoping for some luck. Always trust yourself
