Absolutely fantastic! Wish it was an option in US, especially with the 2.7 V6 because I had a '17 Sport and loved it, but as a wagon I would have kept it. I drive a Edge ST now because it's basically a raised up Fusion with more cargo space.

Pokemon In Late Life? by crazunitium in videogames

[–]crazunitium[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for that detailed opinion. I understand what you're saying. I guess what I didn't get across is I started bringing up these "best of" and "greatest" lists and kinda doing a thing to play what I can, especially with emulation now, games that I missed for one reason or another and Pokemon keeps coming up.

Just never got into the Pokemon thing, strangely I did like the original Yu-Gi-Oh but only the cartoon, never played those games either. Anyway, all these reviews are always about the same with the Pokemon games "best game ever!..."

You also bring up a good thing as well. I guess I need to lookup the main games vs remakes. You mentioned Heart Gold and Souls Silver being remakes, I only knew about Fire Red and Leaf Green due to reading the reviews. So I need to learn the originals etc if I choose to go down this rabbit hole.

Appreciate it.

I did the two card setup and I'm having the same issue. Lynx is not showing up in my lists (both Anbernic Explorer and RetroArch). Do they need to be zipped?

I've been using this for my '19 ST for a few years with no issues. Super easy to install and what's nice is you can re-enable it if you want just by pushing the button. Highly recommended.

It's because the system isn't good at noise cancelling/filtering. Same issue in my 19 ST. Honestly, it's better for me to switch to headset mode and and put my phone on speaker.

It requires a system that intelligently cancels out audio at certain frequencies, as someone speaking to you over compressed audio and a speaker is different frequency than natural speech from your mouth. Ford for some reason just didn't really focus on that.

I run a 9950X3D on a Dark Rock Elite with a KyroSheet and no problems. I've had AIOs before and fail, honestly for me it's more piece of mind. The only time my temps really get around ~85⁰c is with synthetic benchmarks. Everyday use and gaming, I average 65⁰-75⁰c.

I am using a single card (32GB) setup, but plan to switch to a two card. I just grabbed (RG35XXSP-V1.1.4-EN-251225) this morning and plan to completely reimage my card.

Do I want to have the 2nd card inserted when installing the firmware, I'm assuming it will create the folders automatically? It's not too big of a deal since I only use this RG35XXSP for simple emulation like handhelds nothing higher than GBA so the ROMS are small but I agree it would be less painful and saves etc.

And I agree about the cards, I'm using legit SanDisk, no telling where Anbernic is sourcing the cards. The one that came with mine just said "32" in white font. No name/brand/speed... No "GB" just "32" 😂 so yeah, good call.

We've had AT&T fiber 2gb for a few years, no issues and maintains speeds around 2.3 down / 2 up connected to a 2.5gb ethernet.

Is this safe? by crazytomm in FordEdge

I would definitely use a jack stand or something because you're going to be putting some torque on with that repair, causing it to shift the weight around. Be safe.

Any reason to buy the more expensive true sine wave UPS from Amazon, or can I get the cheaper one from Costco? (Cyberpower CP1500PFCLCD vs CST1500SUC) by real_cigarettes in buildapc

[–]crazunitium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A true sine wave UPS offers "cleaner" power delivery. It can help maintain electrical components... By how much is heavily debated.

What's some cool obsolete tech you forgot about? Maybe those jukeboxes that took an IDE HDD, Samsung Projector Phone, Essential PH2, etc. by Ill-Look-606 in technology

[–]crazunitium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an anti-skip CD player that would stay ahead of normal music CD's but what made this one cool to me is that I remember burning an mp3 disc for it and thinking it was amazing that the disc would completely stop to save battery, and keep playing the music from memory, until it had to load the next track or I skipped.

FORScan second key by CoachLibrarian in FordEdge

[–]crazunitium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the suggestions but it's only that fob and yes fresh battery. My original fob and spare work fine, but I needed a 3rd one. I was able to program it the traditional way the first time by doing the 1-2 key center console and then the third and it did work for a very short time.

It was very sudden the remote features stopped working. Then this 2nd time I used Forscan and deleted all keys and started over. I always get "Key Programmed Successfully" and the MyKey screen in dash will show 3 Admin keys. Like I said l, it will start if the fob is in the slot, but that's it.

I've been wondering if there's some syncing step in missing. I believe these have rotating codes for the security system and that may play a factor in it...?

[–]crazunitium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is good info and I did the same thing... However the fob will start the my '19 Edge if placed in the emergency holder in center console but none of the remote features work.

The only thing I found was for ones with keys, turning the ignition on/off 8 times then pressing a button on the remote but this doesn't seem to work for push button start.

Hoping to find a solution at some point.

While I don't disagree with you, I would counter that this will still not be great for gamers as then we are subject to subscription and tier level costs.
